Not sure about the phonebook problem your having, but I have no caller ID either. You do have to go into the blutooth options (hands free utility, jetware) under Programs, in there are options for what features jetware will handle. you have to check caller ID as I dont think its turned on by default. Dont expect everything to work perfect, cause it doesnt. voice command...forget about it...caller id (at least for me) forget about it. Crazy fast power drain on a treo 750 with BT enabled? you bettcha Worth it? For sure

yup, but it is difficult to find the right movie..just scroll through manually to each movie.

I tried with the playlist suggestion for movies, but on the D3 is says 'unknown' playlist because Itunes makes it a music playlist by default. I dont know if theres any way to be able to choose my movie via the D3 other than clicking the fast forward/skip track button on the D3, then I have to find the one I'm looking for 1 by 1. any better way of doing this? Im tired of unplugging the ipod to begin a movie after the car's been off.

i usually pass my turn before the bitc* tells me to turn. i thought there was a setting to change the distance for notifications. Can anyone help? Also, is there a setting to change the re-route calculation instead of always wanting me to do U turns? Other than that, great unit.

I tried Jetware and it worked! All contacts were moved over no prob a the same time. Also made the voice command between treo/d3 work! Great little program, at least in this case. IF I COULD ONLY FIND AN ANSWER TO WATCHING MOVIES ON MY IPOD WITHOUT UNPLUGGING AND PLUGGING IN THE CABLE FOR EACH MOVIE IF BE A HAPPY GUY.

did you... A, turn off automatic updates in Itunes? B, delete the current formware 1.1 from the itunes folder and place the 1.0.2 firmware AND signature file in it?

update, i have WM6 and I downloaded Jetware and all is well. Appears to be doing voice command AND allowed me to transfer ALL my contacts into the D3 phonebook AT THE SAME TIME.

10 digit or 11 digit entries? ive been told the D3 likes 10 digits

That kinda defeats the purpose of the money spent for the BT adapter IMO. I know what your saying though, thats what Ive been doing for now.

Huh, I dont think I've waited that long. I'll try next time. But wouldn't you think that if your contact is in the ROM of the D3 and it can disply the number that it SHOULD be able to display the name too...with no delay?

Its a treo 750 ATT WM6 and I can only send ONE CONTACT AT A TIME which is lame, and I have both formats, 10 and 11 digit. I will look closer next time. Im assuming it likes 10 digit?

btb 200, even when i have names in my phone book, when they call all i get is number and 'unknown' name. I have SEARCHED but not found anything. I read one post on here saying that it cant show name??? is this true? if so, what a bunch of crap, how can i tell who's calling...look at my phone? why did i buy a btb then? Please assist me with understanding.

Well it was a combination of night mode and the 'dimmer' adjustment. Seems the higher the dim number, the brigher it gets...ass backwards if you ask me.

Seems dim, and I can change the brightness settings but it never actually changes. P brake wire is grounded. Any ideas?

Install of btb200 could not have been easier. However: Manual says it does voice command if your phone does. Mine does. Its a treo 750 ATT. So how does this work? Am I speaking into my phone or the mic to initiate a voice command??? Seems pointless if its controlled by the phone. thanks!!

Thanks HIFI, everything is working great. Bypass completed....however: Seems like the brihtness is dimmed and no matter what settings i manually put in for picture ajustments, it doesnt change. any ideas? Its not terrible, but I like things brighter.

thanks. ok i have that cable but its not plugged in yet. it has the mute as shown in tutorials. the light baby blue wire (parking lead right on the opposite harness from the mute wire?) looks like its already grounded from the initial install. do i simply plug in that second harness, change mute location, ground mute, and call it a day? I think onstar has a mute too, should that matter? i dont use onstart but just checking. thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps, btb200 install is a breeze....but it erased all my settings when bat disconnected...arhhhhh

Back of my D3 only has one wire set plugged in, the one above the fuse. The mute wire isnt in the bottom corner, and there is no emply slot. anyone have a clue? Its on a 2007 tahoe and the wires then connect into the Onstar and Steering wheel controls. How can I bypass?
