  1. Thanks for the reply(s) - the people in the install bay are trying both methods mentioned in this thread. I'll let you know if it works out or not tomorrow.
  2. That's what I thought it would be too, because I searched and noticed that that's the only thing you keep saying when someone has an issue with the bypass. I did pull it out and check, but the thing is - why would it correct itself when I reset the unit via the button next to the eject. Even while Im driving, I'll reset it and bam it works.
  3. Hey guys, I bought an AVIC-Z2 and I have an 06 RSX. The unit was MFG in Oct 2007. I had the AVIC installed and the bypass was done - but the issue I'm having is that when Im watching dvds in motion, it works for about 10 mins then it gives me the improperly connected error. I've found a mini solution - the way I have to get it ti work is to press the tiny reset button, next to the eject button. When the unit restarts it begins to work again for 15 mins then same thing. I did the update - but it said that I already had it. Anyone have any solutions?
  4. I leave a scarf hanging from my dash like it's chillin onto my Z2.
  5. I work at Best Buy - we've had more than 2 instances where customers have called the store, and told us that when they got home, then went upstairs, came back in about 5 mins to take out the tv/comp and show off the install and their stuff was stolen. Kind of freaky if you think about it.
  6. Im coming from Alpine w/ fast scroll option, I wish I was able to ask this question before I put the Z2 in my car. It's a little slow and yeah you have to scroll.. I only found it to be a problem if I didn't know what song I was looking for and was browsing my library.
