In Android auto / Google maps is there anyway to save locations and label them? I know in maps on the 8100 you can but would like to do this in aa

hi all just wondering can i connect a 12v+ line to a toggle switch on 1 side and the orange/white wire on the other to manually change from day/night mode ? is there a switch that i could turn up and down to adjust the dimmer as well ? i have a 08 chevy express cargo van , but not able to locate the illumination wire. i tried connecting the orange/white to the headlight dimmer switch but it didn't help. i have auto daylight running lights..

yes it does , the offline mode on spotify . you have to be online then download the songs yoiu want and set it to offline so it saves data

have the 8100 nex and spotify premium account , is there anyway to listen to songs while offline ? my head unit just says your currentlly offline , even tho on the app itself in spotify settings i have it set to offline use but i have all my songs downloaded in spotify. trying to avoid data useage,

Not sure it just says failed to paste I made just an empty folder and tried to paste that and no luck.. But now my Hu says please insert your SD card containing igo content files. So I'm trying to find a way to get igo Ba k on my Hu Avic 8100nex firmware 1.05 I tried flashing firmware again from pioneer but same error.

thanks but however now my igo is gone and it says please insert your sd card containing IGO content files, my other problem is i cant seem to paste to the ext data folder

I have the 8100 and having the exact same problem as op. My igo directory is deleted. How exactly can I fix this problem. When I boot into test mode I am unable to paste files using USB to avic script. I receive an error "paste failed" or "unable to paste" ... Something along these lines. Could someone please give me some insight in how to fix this issue. Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

followed all instrustions but when i past my canada.fbl back over to content/map i get an error "failed to paste" any ideas ?

pioneer avic 8100 nex firmware 1.05 when we download and get maps from gps power net do we just pop usb drive into deck do the update , download the maps then copy into the correct directories >? trying to find a tutorial on this but not having much luck at all ​really appreciate a little guidance also any other scripts that are out there

not AA but just the maps app , is there a quick simple way to mute voice navigation directions , like you can in android auto by hitting a mute button ? so far in maps only way i can find out hopw is to painfully go through the settings within maps and turn it off, at times i like it on but like a fast way to enable and disable it.

because the odd odd time if the map freezes constantly trying to load ect , only way out in my car is to put in park shut off my car and open driver door, al that just to get the deck to reboot.

hi all running Pocket Casts on my s7 when in Android auto , it doesn't show up , i click on music icon and again to list the music apps however Pocket Casts doesn't show up , any ideas ?

is there a way to power the unit off other then just screen off ? can't seem to locate anything. also i wish the center button on the remote could be used to skip preset radio stations , so much comfy in the hand rather then fighting to find the 2 smaller buttons at verry bottom of the remote.

hi all just picked up the 8100nex just a couple questions useing maps is there anyway to voice search ? i know android auto does it but in the actual maps app can you do it ? i find that maps has alot more options then android auto does as far as saved locations,showing speed, current and speeding. adding alerts for red camera and speed camera ect... i just find this is all missing in android auto unless im missing something. the avicsync , what is it exactlly ? i cant really get it to work or find much info on it at all.
