  3. Yeah I have done iPod cable, I have iphone 5 and I was hoping to connect 2 Bluetooth 4 hands free as the z110 doesn't recognize iphone 5 over an iPod , thank you for your post
  4. Update , if I max volume on iPod and max head unit , I can hear music faintly, along with static which I assume is a somewhat lousy ground , but if I had it that high on another source it would be so loud it would blow the speakers
  5. I have 3 iPods all with Bluetooth, all 3 connect to the z110 fine, and show playing music, But there is no sound from the speakers I checked the volume on the iPods and it is max, Any suggestion? I had the unit repaired by pioneer last fall and it worked before i sent it in for that.

    iPhone 5 support?

hello i am mulling an iphone 5 and was curious if anyone tried the lightning adapter/iphone 5 with a z110bt? thanks
  7. i have exact same problem, i installed last spring. I dont really have a fix, but for me i noticed it happens when there is a really bass heavy song, its gone out for a few days once without sound. I just try to avoid playing bass heavy songs or turn the radio volume down. I have eclipse xa1000, eclipse xa2000 amps at this point, i have my car in storage and am about to think about going in and tinkering with it. It might be an air issue where not enough air is behind the z110bt. I have it insalled in 350z which is really cramped as im sure the corvette is. I really h
  8. i dont have the att code that comes up in mine, mine just shuts off the sound. I guess i have a different problem than this as far as i can tell.
  9. hi i have this same issue, i have a 350z and installed in spring and its been doing this right off the bat. its the z110bt software/unit. the 350z has a really cramped space behind it. for me when i turn up the volume beyond 32 it seems to shut off on some songs(same way with no sound but screen funcionality), but when i put the a/c back on it turns back on, or at least has in the past. im thinking of uninstalling it and putting something so the fan has air to breath on the back but i dont know exactly it will be/or if i will be able to do it sucessfully i am interested a
  10. just got my z and this worked for me, after fiddling with moving the mute i tried this. it worked great, although i only needed 3-4 copper strands in my 18ga. thanks alot
  11. thanks vblue good to know I emailed 6th ave and asked them if i could have a receipt from them as well and they said fine.
  12. "aiham is right, your invoice/receipt is from 6ave so there shouldn't be any issues with the rebate. Technically you're not buying it from Amazon, Amazon is just facilitating the payment to 6ave. I did this a few weeks ago and my rebate is in process..." this is from this thread at slickdeals.net http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1917168 i think we should be okay to order from 6th ave thru amazon.com. I ordered from there yesterday hopefully my rebate works as said in this thread. if not im out 200 dollars oh well
  13. update: it was a bad rca cable that was causing the noise, replaced it and it sounds normal
  14. i have had the d3 for a little over a year now, ive had my ups and downs but it was working fine for awhile until today when i installed the swi-ps adapter. I have no idea what i did, but i installed the swi-ps adapter and finally got it to work(that was a pita itself) when i rehooked everything up to make sure it all worked, the steering controls worked, but the avic d3 was making a loud repeated thumping noise. It keeps repeating unitl i turn the car off. Ive never had this problem before today. I have used the unit pretty regularly for the past year+. Anyone have suggestion
  15. wow that looks nice, jason thanks alot for all the hard work
