Here is my problem, I have wired it just like i wired in my 2008 corolla, but picked up the wire for speed senser purple as suggestion on the top of this post. 1.0 problem begin, while driving, the pointed car arrow would get stuck at one place and wont move. no guidance voice would come out, and once get to the destination, it would say you have arrived at destination. and I would go in hardware to see the pulse speed, there wont be any pulses. 2.0 another problem is sometime, the arrow would be pointing all the way upwards, and I would be going sideway. and sti

I had this z2 for year and half, and update the drive with z3 6 months ago. never had a problem, but recently took that from 08 corolla and installed it in 09 corolla, problem begins...! all of the sudden while driving my pulse will go to zero, and the direction of the arrow on the map will be straight up, it will stay up the whole time, I would have to turn the car off and then turn it back on, and everything will be fine, like lroad will go eft to right, and arrow would be pointing up...! any help?

ummz, thankf for you help. how would i find out if i have jbl sound amp installed in it, i did hook z2 up to see if it works, and it does work fine with just 2 connectors plugged into it, and I have checked the 4 speaker and they are working fine, but i dont know what other connector are for, does this car has 6 speakers. does anyone else have any info about how to hook z2 into 2009 Corolla S with steering controllers, and about the vss and reverse signals, thanks

This post does help me somewhat in installation of my new 09 corolla with z2. my question is that I have 2009 corolla S and it has 4 connectors when i unhook the factory radio, the harness i have is only 2 connectors, so what would i do with other 2 connectors, are those for the controllers on the steering? my second question is where is that purple wire, which connector? where is that reverse single wire location is it still located in the fuse box in the front of the vehicle, RED wire, please explain in details where would that be, I really dont want to hook up the wrong wire? than

Thanks for answering the question... ! the main body ECU is located under the passanger side of the dashboard? The Reverse Light, is it coming from the fuse box in the hood of the vehicle? Thanks

will install the avic-z2, like to know where the vss and reserve wires are located, i will be pulling this avic from 2008 so i need the new harness, or the old one will work with 09 corolla s? secondly how to hook up the steering controls to interface with this, thanks a lot for looking into it for me.

thanks for you answer, but i have the album that is 5 cd long, like about more than 70 songs, that i want to put in 1 album, those wont fit in one cd, i wish it did, that would be the easiest solution then, but it aint. i have dont what i was told, create the same title/artist, and they will all be copied under the same album, but it doesnt?

no1 knows the answer to this? did i ask something very strange guys? comeone people, all i want is to put about 30 tracks into one album, and they are in multiple cd's....!

I have an Album which consist of 5 cd's I created a cd-audio format with the same album title. while recording into the hardrive, it created 5 different albums, i had someone told me here, that as long as the album title is the same, it will go in one album title, why did it create 5 different title? how can i make it not to do that, and put all in one title? thanks

Hours long debates, not songs my friend that is kind of sucks, the UI should let you skip to whatever level you want intead of holding that button, even wimamp or media player in the computer let you do that they should work on the firmware. can anyone answer my first question.
