After pouring over this site I decided to pull the trigger on a Z1 today. Went into a local audo store where I have dealt with for years. The owner and I know each other by sight, but we are definatly not buddy buddy. He had one Z1. He pulled the box and it was an April 2006 build. :D :D :D :D I started talking with him about local vs internet pricing etc. I finally looked at him and asked what he would do on it. If GPS antennas wont work inside your window, none of the handheld units would ever work in a car. It is a bunch of BS for them to collect more $$ and mount that ugly thing on your roof. While I just got my Z1 (April build) today, I have used my Lowrance and my Magellan inside many cars.
