Hi All, just started having problems with this thing. was driving with it and it was fine, got home and started it up the next morning, the ipod started playing and the unit went right to the nav warning screen. it stayed there til i got to my destination. shut the car off for a few hours, got back in to drive home, and i had no start up screen, the buttons lit up white and then shut off after a minute or two. i have no screen what so ever, i searched and searched this forum for anything similar to this and i come up with the same threads, so i decided to start my own. i have n

how do i add my image to the 7zip file?? which one do i replace? currently the file i want to add is named 'picture43normal.bmp' i have 7zip and renamed my file accordingly...now what do i do?? thanks!

i just tried to update the file on my f700 and now it wont boot, just resets itself over and over every 2 seconds

i downloaded the 3.23.09.cmh928.data.zip file and i dont see anything that goes into the apl2/igo folder...is that right?? just copy everything into there anyway??

im going to try this tonite pretty simple install yes? just replace the stock files with the ones we download?

this is awesome, everything in one place WITH the building files... i cant wait to try this out, one question for you, before i used leetlauncher with igo and i copied a sys.txt file over that rendered my nonleet nav useless, and i could only use igo...will this do the same? thanks again!

sorry to hear you are having trouble with this, initially i did as well. what i did was copy the maps from the unit to the sd card maps you must use igo 8.0 8.3 will not work

did you copy that updated sys.txt file? if you didnt, then i would suggest you try that, from my understanding this will allow you to use the gps signal with igo, garmin or tomtom be aware tho, that when i did this, i was NOT able to use the stock navigation

i think that the hardest thing about this mod is finding the updated maps with the buildings as well! nice mod tho, my fave thus far!

hey wal, i was having the same issue u are having. did u download the txt file and menu data fix? if so this is how i got mine to work after i loaded igo i pressed down on the knob and that takes u to the launcher screen, after that you press down on the pioneer logo, it takes a min to load up but after its loaded u can go to source, contacts etc...then press map to get back to igo hope this helped cj

ok i finally managed to get this running and i replaced the data.zip file but now i cannot get to the reg pioneer menu screen that lets me choose the audio source...i pressed down and menu but to no avail...any thoughts?

grats on the purchase, im sure once most of the bugs are worked out the unit will be great haha til then thank god for this site i had a similar problem to yours. i had to turn on the avic and then use my phone to look for the unit and then they found each other...the unit didnt find anything until i did this via the phone gl cj
