I just got the same problem. everything was working fine until today. The system was playing all my cds, even burnt ones, but while listening to one of the cds today, the music jsut stoped and it said "unreadable disc". I tried other cds and dvds, and now its not reading anything, not even the ones that worked b4. Got this system installed a week ago, and ran into a few troubles with it, startng to think this was a big wasted of money.

I had the exact same problem that was really bugging me. Wasted like 10 cd's and wasted alot of time trying to dl different burning programs, haha. But you jsut solved my problem. Does this mean that my Z2 already had the updated version?

Can u please give me the link to the free map upgrades for the Z2, i cant seem to find it. Thanks

Sorry, just to clear things up. When i put it in cd, it says this is the old version, u need to put in new version to update, so all this time i thought it was already updating. Weird, because it works after i reset. And the reason why i keep having to do this is because somtimes the navigation detects a brake lead, which doesnt allow me to watch dvd while driving. Still wondering if this is supose to happen? Resetting the system all the time can be anoying.

I did method 2. Put the cd into the drive, pressed map, and after its done updating. It says, old version updated, please update new version. Or some crap like that. Clicked "OK". reset the system, and it works perfectly. But after i turn off my engine or some time goes by, i have to redo this process. Is this normal? Or it this supose to be a one time thing?
