Here are a couple of quick pics of my sound system. I had the AVIC Z1 installed. I used a factory silver NAV bezel and had a stereo shop fiberglass it to fit and paint to match. The trunk still gives me access to my spare. There will be about a 1/2 inch of frosted plexi that outlines the inside amp window and the blue LED's will illuminate that very nicely.

Well I located my factory bluetooth adapter and pulled the harness out of it and that solved my problem. It seemed the two were fighting against each other. I had a similar problem when I had two headsets programed to my phone.

Did not work for me...

I really hope this turns out to be informative and productive and not just a bunch of canned responses. I'm sure you are going to ask a bunch of blue tooth questions but I would like to know why the Treo 700w does not work well with the pioneer blue tooth unit. [b]It drops calls[/b] [b]Sound from the phone does not come through the car speakers only through the handset[/b] I am not the only one with these problems. My Treo 700w worked perfect with the factory Uconnect from Dodge so I have to believe it’s the quality of the pioneer receiver not the phone. Thanks guys!

I will try that.. Is this a soft reset? Do I lose all my settings?

I have the same problem. I have the 700W from Verizon. It shows registered and I get the red phone in the corner to disconnect the call if I want but I hear nothing through the car speakers, just the handset. My phone has worked through the speakers before I don’t know why it stopped? I kept getting disconnected as has been discussed with the 700W.

I just had my AVIC Z1 installed in my Dodge Charger Daytona. My Charger had factory Uconnect (which I hated to lose it worked FLALSELY!!!) much better than this pioneer. Anyways if you have a Uconnect system and a phone registered to it be sure to delete the phone before you have an after market HU put in. I deleted the connection from my cell phone after I had the AVIC Z1 installed and now my phone always comes up with a message stating the Uconnect wants to establish a connection. Very annoying! Not sure what I'm going to do yet.
