  1. Make sure that the orange illumination wire with the white stripe coming off the back of the head unit is connected to one in your car which may or may not be orange.
  2. I've had the D3 working for about a year now and today it shut off and now it won't turn back on. I've checked all the connections and everything's fine. The accessory and power lines both have 12 volts and all of the fuses are intact including the one on the back of the D3. The ground wire doesn't have any power running through it. I'm pretty much stumped here and any help is greatly appreciated.
  3. I have my Zune hooked up to the AV input and I get lines across the screen and static in the speakers when the engine is on. However I don't get these problems on the XM, radio or CD. Just wondering if anyone knew how to fix this.
  4. Thanks for the help man. It works now but the volume is way too loud. I went into the loudness setting and turned it to low but the ping that sounds everytime you hit a button is extremely loud and the only way to get a normal volume on a source is by putting the volume on 1 or 2. If you have any suggestions it'd really help. Thanks for the last tip.
  5. Hey, I just installed an avic-d3 into my 2002 kia optima and everything works except I'm not getting any sound out of the speakers. I checked all the connections and looked online and I can't figure out what's wrong. If anyone can help me out here it's much appreciated.
