I have a 2005 Tundra with steering wheel control's installed with Pac swi-ps last year with the newest Bt firmware.Everything work's however I added the right side missing switch from the lexus Gx470 that includes the phone aneswer and phone disconnect button along with the voice button (see picture)and everything lights up on the new switch too.My question mainly is does the Avic z1 surport the phone aneswer and pick up from the pac? Thanks Garrett it works now I sort of had a feeling it was a setting issue just wasn't sure. I added the pax steering wheel control a few mo's ago and the settings went back to factory Pioneer so it might have changed that. Erik

Correct 2 bands. Iphone4 has 3 white bands from the looks of it on the Oem apple designed headphones. Yeah, you need one with three bands. I'm surprised this thing actually worked for you in the past, that isn't normal. It worked from this method a wile back but it wasn't an iphone in fact the iphone first gen didn't work either. If i recall it was a mp3 type music player that worked and played but that's been a wile (2007). This is what I like to do right now either figure out how to add a cable that would charge the iphone4 yet retain pandora (aux) and play music.

something like this is hooked behind my z1 currently. It's worked before and now I don't seem to have any sound coming from the unit into this Input.

A wile back my friend added a radio shack cable that went into my Input from the rear of my Pioneer z1 (see pict). I recently purchased a Apple Iphone4 and trying to use pandora from the headphone jack and it doesn't appear to have any sound at all. I tried to add a couple of other sources and still no sound? Any ideal what im doing wrong. i checked the settings on the unit and have an open line on Aux. Do i need to purchase another cable to get this working? Thanks

I understand your request and that sounds fair. I guess that's why were here to learn the unit inside and Out. I Like my Pioneer Navi units but sometimes keeping up with the latest updates and Technology has some limitations. Thanks

let's not jump to conclusions and say I was appearing to be some know it all that's not the case here.Everybody is subject to there opinions and certain people can figure thing's out wile others can't that's the logic with anything.To me it's trill and error and generally speaking results will varie depending on who the person you talk with.Back to topic I hope you guy's figure your issues out why most of us are here .

I have both Thank you very much sir and i can post where I like Anyways I can see where this is going there are features that are not going to work just wait on Pioneer on updates in the future as all I can say.

The Avic app provided from Pioneer doesnt work on my z1 for Tundra but it works on the other ride.Pandora app link does work and it streams music just fine on my z1 but not on BT on the Z1 it works connected (AUX). Pandora does work for the iphone4 been using it a week now.

It should work just fine on your z110bt .I have the older z1HDD and mine works on my iphone4

Hey everybody Just picked up the new iphone4 and can't seem to figure out why it's not working with the aux jack I added on my z1. I went into the setting and tryed to figure out if the Aux was turned on and it is but it doesnt seem to provide any sound. I know it has worked on my friends MP3 before on that jack.

I've seen your install from ts.com a wile back Thanks. May i ask why you didn't hard wire vs the sensor you used ?? Mainly i didn't want the delay on the remote sensor like i have now with the Pioneer remote. I did a z1 crewmax install when the Tundra came out in 2007 from a friends truck and we were the first to install it but I didn't know enought about pac at the time otherwise it would have been installed. After having my Z1 from 2006 im getting tired of my Pioneer cheap little remote so I found out that pac makes a controller that ties into the Factory Oem controls on the wheel. Has anybody added this on there Toyota product or how hard is the install? From what i know It ties into 3 wires from the radio wiring. Thanks on any information you can share My pac comes in next week can't wait to ditch this add on from Pioneer. i will be adding the right side bluetooth controls because there is an add on mod from Toyota on the blanks on the right hand side..

Well dude if you can't buy the parts anymore from Pioneer Corp whats the overall point in asking about functionality and I read it well Thanks ? Anyways Pioneer discontinued this part as i had to order a replacement from there website. I received an email from them stating this bad news thus purchased another one from Ebay. Im going to fab the Oem steering wheel controls anyways so this is a temp fix untill my Pac controller comes in from Texas. i would seem to think having a z1 myself installed on a Tundra you need to tie into the speed wire on your bike. Problem is not sure if there is a speed wire on a bike? I too own a motorycle cbr 600rr and unclear if my bike has a wire or not but ill ask the question none the less. The z1 by the way looks at the speed wire to measure distance and without that running up your problems you speak of will show up. Do you have any pictures from your install. I have the tomtom rider on my bike.

I've had my Z1 since it first came out sept 2006 and overall been pretty happy with it intill today . I started up my Truck drove off and one min into my drive I heard a hum type noise coming out of my speakers. I then tryed to lower the sound to next to zero and the noise wouldn't go away at all. Last time my friend was in my setting a wile back I had phone volume controls from the stering wheel or the headunit Now my system will change the setting in the menu like you all stated. I would love to figure out how my friend changed the setting so I had volume controls from both the headunit or sterring wheels controls but this will do.
