Anyone know if this would be compatible with a z2? What would you want for it, and do you have any pictures?

Chino did you replace the touch panel yet? How hard is it to do, I downloaded the manual and its a little hard to see whats going on. I imagine I am supposed to be looking at page 23? Let me know if you have any experience.

i tried matching it up with some of his woodgrain... OSUV i believe that guys has a 2001 or newer Jeep grand cherokee, so maybe the dash size changed a little bit. Mines a 99 so there could be a change but i doubt it. Maybe i should consider the d3 because of the price and it does the same thing basically and smaller right? madmanfrommars, i have thought about it but the rb1 is in my opinion it is lacking in functionability compared to the z1. It would install nice but the screen is sooo small, have to see, are they coming out with a avic-n4 or something, that would install better than the z1 probably. The only bad part is that there is no vents for the back thats what it relies on to get air to the rear passengers.

Just did a quick photoshop to see how this would look, but my jeep has a din and half dash and the z1 needs a double din. i think i would have to hack up the front of the dash a lil bit to make it work. Original Top view to show the room behind headunit Photoshop if any one else can make a more realistic photoshop do it and post it.

After reading about the new D3 i dont see how one could go wrong? I know this is the z1's forum and i am not ripping on it in any way, but the ipod integration is a for sure solid thing that the d3 has going for it. And like sloppy said, by a changer and never worry about it again. Just my thought

Does anyone or (has anyone) know if a z1 will fit into a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee? From reading a few posts the things that have trouble are the bypass and the microphone if im right? What is the latest you want to get the z1 manufacturer date? And has anyone found a solid solution for the microphone echo situation? Thanks
