No problem. I try to help where I can as others do for us.
-
This .zip file has the modified Navi.exe with the OK nag removal and is ONLY for the 2015 update. The zip also includes testmode.key.

Long read on this one, but looks like a lot of hard work by several...
Unfortunately I just tried the latest link for the Z110 and it appears to be down. Any one able to put back up? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Download the file pack for the newer ones, Click on this link LINK and download the old CARDINFO.cif file and replace the one in the original download with the one from the second download and you will be good to go. Just worked for a Z110 I bought on the cheap.

Just had a similar issue but i never got the Pioneer screen. Turns out it was my back lights for the screen.
-
Also I have found that if you are not using Pandora One (paid version) it will kick you out of App mode due to ads. I have experienced this with customers /friends radios.

I'm replacing my Z110 for a Z130 (addition of HD Radio) and im wondering if anyone know where the history information for the navigation is. I have looked through the File Management section of testmode but did not find anything that jumped out at me as that. Any help would be appreciated.

Clarion preset on the TR7-Pro works like a champ.
-
I just sent one of my salesman out with two TR7-PRO's to test on a AVH-8400 tonight. He is going to let me know what works tomorrow morning.
TR7 - Alpine = 4 second delay, on for one second, off for one second, back on until green wire looses +12V.

so then you do admit that there are some units out there that dont support the "bonus features" ok because for a minute there i though you where saying that they all did support it.
forgive me for only telling people exactly what your company propagated to me!
It says right in the document that the older ones in the black case won't. I didn't realize I was stating anything different. I was simply stating that the TR7 and the TR-7 are the same module. I mean physically the same hardware and harness. Always was always have been. Yes, OLD, OLD OLD ones may come with software that doesn't have the bonus features on it. I doubt anyone would come across one of those today though.
two thoughts on this,
first, not every person that works for any company has a clue what the hell is going on there! for example, i have talked to some really intelligent people from your own company, I have also talked to some real idiots whose only tech support ability is to read word for word the manual that i had sitting in front of me (which by the way twice ive had somebody read off to me that exact line and tell me they couldn't offer any help). look at pioneers tech support, they are all over the place, some dont even know anything about what you are calling about, others admit to it being a very common problem and can tell you the workaround. how the hell am i supposed to know which end of the spectrum you fall into?
A little background on me:
Electrical Engineering Degree
MECP Cert.
Been with AAMP/PAC for 6+ years
If anyone knows about the parts.... It's me.
I apologize that some of my guys won't openly help you illegally bypass safety features on a radio that we have no experience with. I know I have personally talked to a few people recently regarding this bypass and let them know that the bypass they are explaining to me sounds like the Clarion bypass and sent them the Clarion Tech Brief.
Some of the people I have talked to couldn't even tell me what the radio needs to see to have it be bypassed. If someone could tell me EXACTLY what the radio needs to see I could set it up for them or even write a file for the TR-7PRO
second, maybe if your so damn smart at your job, you should change all of the "incorrect information" your company just throws in to its packaging. or at a bare minimum, make sure at least the damn people who answer the freakin phones how all of their products work, or at least give them up to date material.
Tech brief with the bonus features has been updated (I changed TR-7 to TR7). I hope that will cure any confusion
better yet brosophina, why dont you just pump the brakes a bit with the attitude.
Absolutely no attitude, I was just trying to let you know I wasn't just another schmo on the forum.

1loudls is correct
proof: pdf from their site http://www.pac-audio...ulletin_002.pdf
The TR7 has 7 additional Bonus Features not documented in the instructions. These Features are 17-23 as
listed below. Only the TR7 supports these features. The older TR-7 in the black case does not support these
features.
also looks like there is a new tr7 pro out. http://www.pac-audio...7&CategoryID=31
can program it from your pc
Weird.... Go to their website http://www.pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=717&CategoryID=31
Click on tech docs and click on the instructions..... It has the TR-7 instructions. coincidence? I think not.
Yes, some of the very first revisions on the module didn't support the bonus features. Anything you buy or come across now will have it regardless of whether or not it has the - in the part number. Especially since that document has a date of 4-08-08. I mean I only work for PAC.... What would I know?
-
the PAC TR7 (not to be confused with the older PAC TR-7 in the black case) can also be configured to be used in mode 17 (clarion) without the need for a relay and is much simpler to program BUT PAC tech support does not have any other information other than that the new modules can do modes 17-23
http://www.pac-audio...ulletin_002.pdf
but they can not answer any questions you might have on it (or at least the two simple fellows that i got to talk to couldn't)
so i was wondering if anybody set theirs up for the clarion mode (17) and how they wired it up???
!!!ALSO THERE IS A SMALL TYPO IN THE ABOVE QUOTE!!!
it may cause some small confusion
near the bottom
"Option 3 - 1 delayed for Orange" should be :Option 3 - 1 delayed ON for Orange
The TR7 and the TR-7 are the same module. Yes the housing have changed a bit but they are still and always have been the same module.
Here is how to set it up with version 17. This is for a clarion radio so the timing may need to be changed.

I had this issue and here is what i did to fix it. It sounds 100% better and im not as "loud" on the other end as people were complaining that it sounded like i was yelling at them.
I placed a ring of electrical tape around the vents on the side... (one loop worth)
I placed a square of electrical tape over the face of the mic. (just big enough to cover the face of the mic)
I places a Windscreen from radio shack over the tape that i applied on the face of the mic.
I suggest people to try this. I drive a diesel truck and i thought my biggest hurdle would be engine noise. My cabin also has about 100 ft^2 of sound deadener in it.
-
it says Z110BT on the face. Yes its installed. I've been a MECP certified installer for about 11 years. Plus an install in a F250 is cake. Deff has music sphere on the iPod screen. Thanks for the manual.

So i got my Z110 in the mail today. I tried to start to update it. I replace the necessary files and do the following....
Now Copy the folder
c:updateAVICZ110
to the root of an SD card.
Lets say your sd card is j: drive.
You will now have one folder on the j: drive.
j:AVICZ110 (Plus all the contents of the folder.)
Now insert the SD to your Z110BT and it should start updating automatically.
It does NOTHING.... Acts like i didn't even insert an SD card into it. So i get to looking and under my service Information Screen it says....
Version: 02.0000
And under the BT firmware it says...
Version: 3.11
I would assume this means mine is already updated. Please correct me if im wrong.
-
Mine does this as well. But only when i voice call a favorite. I don't have a remote so its when i use the VR button.
-
turned out it was my phone.. hers transfered first shot.
-
Let me first start by saying I'm no stranger to pioneer and their bluetooth. But in this instance I'm at a loss.
I try to transfer my phone book to her unit and it wont let me.
I press the phone book transfer button and it switches to that screen
At the top it has "Menu/Phone book Transfer" according to the manual I'm supposed to press the "START" button but there isn't one.
I have already registered the phone with the unit and i had no issues transferring my contacts to my Avic-Z3.
The Bluetooth disconnects like its supposed to but when i try to transfer a contact its like it never goes into Obex discoverable mode as my phone never sees it as an option to transfer the contact to.
The phone is a Samsung Xclaim and i will try her phone when she gets home but it uses the same UI so we will see.
Any help would be appreciated!!

if you use the peripheral GMAHL1 it will come with the connector and RCA to retain the reverse camera.

That is correct.
