  1. There are new units designed for manual transmissions made by Directed Electronics, known as the the Responder LE series by Viper, Python, and Clifford. However it's finding a professional such as myself that is willing to install it because even though it's made for manual transmissions some companys won't allow it to be installed.
  2. I am an installer for a very reputable company and as other people have said before remote start is the way to go. The reason is not only can you remote start it but when its running you can do a remote start sequence with the key in the ingition and pull the key out and it stays running. I do it all the time so my screen and IPOD stays booted.
  3. As a porfessional installer and haveing dealt with both Scosche and Metra, I would recommend going with Metra because their dash kits look a lot better and are easier to put together in neccessary.
  4. I live in the Lakewood/Denver area so hopefully I'll see you around and I am a certified installer as well and from the price you said you got a hell of a deal but obvioulsy I didnt have to pay for labor.
  5. Hey I jusy swtiched over from ther 7800 as well and I loved it but I love this one as well. But my question to you is do you have a 4 or 5ch amp hooked up to yours with major engine whine?
  6. All you need to do is get either crimp caps or high quality elctrical tape and tape them all off indvidually.
