My 8800 works just fine on my Z1. There was some echo problems at first, but that seems to be with most phones. BB's have an echo cancelling option in the bluetooth setup so that helped, as well as the update cd. My full address book transfered as well. If you do get echo problems, just follow some of the steps on the other forums, theres lots of ideas to try there.

ummm, maybe you shouldn't be such a s.a. I just want to know if there is ANY other way to get it done without messing with the HDD.

i just paired my 8800 with my Z1 (not sure if it would make a difference with the Z2). make sure that encryption is disabled on your BB under device properties, and start the connection with the navi, not the BB. hope this works

so that means I'd have to do the Z2 image upgrade?

i'm new to this site and just installed a Z1 in my GLI. I'm sure it's on the forum somewhere, but I cant find it...how do you change that pioneer startup screen to a custom one? i know how to change the AV and VAVI backgrounds but can't figure out how to do the splash screen. Any ideas where I could find the info?
