  1. I have a question that perhaps yu might help with. I recently upgraded from a cell phone to a Blackberry 8830. My cell phone paired just fine with my Z2 but the Blackberry won't. They "see" each other, but when I am prompted to enter the Z2 passcode into the phone , I get an "Unable to Pair" message. I was told that perhaps the Z2 could not support a windows based phone but I cannot accept that. Any ideas because I have none at this point
  2. IS your SAMSUNG a cell phone ? I had a cell phone and it paired just fine. I upgraded to the Blackberry 8830 and I can't get that to pair. They "see" each other but when I enter the passcode of the Z2, the Blackberry displays "Unable to pair"
  3. This is a known issue/defect with the product. There is a software fix you can download, however, mine locked up permanenetly after about 6 months and you will always have the last audio function you used, even with a lock up. Mine was still under warranty so the Installer replaced it with a new unit that already had the fix
  4. Perhaps you can help me. I just got a BBerry 8830 and can't get it to pair with my Z2. I am told it's because the Z2 can't play with a windows based phone. How did you get yours to pair ?
  5. At first it does sort of "suck". After you get used to it, it upgrades from "sucks" to "OK" at that's as good as it will get. Its something you have to learn how to use, and learning how in this case is difficult because what you have to learn isn't in the book; it's a result of repeated useage and trial and error
  6. I am sorry that I cannot provide you with any assistance, however, I am having the same issue with a Blackberry 8830 and an AVIC Z2. If you get any info, feel free to email me at goodguyinsrq@aol.com. If I find anything out, I'll post it here
  7. I recently upgraded from a cell phone to a Blackberry 8830 and can't get it to pair with my AVIC Z2 Navi System( The old cell phone worked just fine.). It "sees" the Nav and even prompts for the NAV passcode. After I enter the default passcode for the NAV, I get an "unable to pair with HDD NAV" message. HELP !!
