I have a 2 ohm system in my car (2ohm speakers) I was going to purchase an Alpine PDX-4.100; any issues I should have with that? Is there another amp in the $250 range that someone can recommend? I have a 2001 CLK320. I was going to change out all speakers but since they are bose and low resistance and the tweeters in the top of the door would be a pain in the ass to remove/replace I would rather just swap out the amp. What amp powers your z2/z3 or do you just use the head unit? All the best, Sirswift93

Is the only difference between the z2 and z3 the software?

I have a 2001 CLK320 Cabreolet and was going to purchase the AVIC-z2. However, you guys have me concerned. To resolve the 2ohm issue can't I just replace all the speakers in the car with 4ohm ones? Thanks, Swift
