Anyone need the manual for a D3? I sold my D3 last summer and was going through some stuff and found the manual for it. The person I sold it to had it stolen out of his car so I know he doesn't need it. So anyone that wants the manual can have it for free or else it's just gonna get thrown out. Let me know.

Yea, I used the Pac Audio steering wheel control adapter in my '07 Impala SS with factory steering wheel controls. Check out Pac Audio's website to see which one you'd need.

Looks good. That's a great detector too. I have one hardwired as well. Only mine is on the opposite side of the mirror.

Does this apply to the newer razr v9m? I'm thinking about picking one up but want to make sure it's going to work fine. I have a Samsung Alias now and that worked flawlessly.

Anyone who gets a Samsung U940 (Glyde) from Verizon goodluck. It took me forever to even get it to pair. Then I never could get the phonebook to transfer by either trying the whole thing or 1 by 1. I returned the phone(other issues I didn't like either) and I'm back using my Samsung U740 which I set up just as easily this time as it did the first time. Paired right away and transferred whole phonebook right away.

All the bypass threads are stickied at the top of the hacks/mods section if you need to see any other ones.

Has anyone gotten a Samsung Glyde (sch-u940) to do a phonebook transfer? I had a hardtime with the u740 I used to use but I eventually got it to work. I'm trying to do it the same way but it keeps saying the D3 doesn't support name card transfer. Phone is registered and everything and autoconnects. I go in and do the phonebook transfer and it disconnects as it should. Then I go to my phone and select send name card to bluetooth Then I select all the contacts and it finds the bluetooth as a device but when I hit pair it says the Pioneer doesn't support name card transfer I even tried j

YOu don't do anything with the remote wire. You remove the MUTE wire from it's location and move it to the slot above it. Then you ground that wire. Then you ground the wire that goes to the parking brake wire. The mute wire is yellow and black and the parking brake wire is light green.

I Already have an amp hooked up ?
jtav2002 replied to chrissalvatore's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
I had a 12" sub and Alpine amp installed at a shop while I was still running the factory head unit. They used a line output converter, and with this nothing was running to the headunit itself. They tapped into the rear speakers for the signal to the line output converter and then the RCA's went from the line output converter to the amp. Now that I have the D3 in I'll be ditching the line output converter and taking off those connectors to the rear speakers since they won't be needed. So I'll just be getting a longer set of RCA's to connect from the amp to the sub out on the RCA harness on -
Yea, as mentioned, not available if purchased at Best Buy. In addition it's not available at Circuit City or Tweeter either. I'm sure there might be a couple other places. I got mine at Tweeter and got it for the 699 and was hoping I could get that 200 rebate too til I read the fine print.

new D3 new phone and no phone book
jtav2002 replied to Fordtechman's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
I was having trouble transferring the phonebook on my Verizon phone as well, finally figured it out though. I have a Samsung U740. What I did was hit the transfer phonebook thing on the AVIC, then went into my phone book and selected the send phonecard thinger, it selected the number that I had been on but then I was able to select all, then when I hit "done" it gave me an option to send to bluetooth. When I tried to do this I basically had to pair the phone with the bluetooth again, which I thought was weird since I already had my phone paired, and registered with the AVIC. But after it d -

Yes, yes you do! haha I use this username for every other thing I'm a member of. I confuse myself sometimes remembering I use 20SS07 for NAIOA and LS1tech.
