  1. I had mine professional installed but the installer said that the harness/unit does utilize the stock infiniti amp. The only issues I am having is that the unit will boot up when I turn the truck on but won't play music over the speakers (the unit is playing). Apparantly there is a firmware update for the metra interface specifically for dodge pickups. The unit is supposed to work for a wide variety of dodge/chrysler cars with the canbus system but the trucks seem to have a specific issue.   3. When in Navigation mode, there seems to be an icon in the upper right corner of the screen right below the bluetooth icon which reads as: "updating...". A couple of questions: 1. Is this the XM Traffic updating? 2. Why can it never fully update? 3. When I registered the radio and subscribed to XM I specified the Traffic feature. Thanks for the tips. I am in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area so there should be plenty of updated info. I registered that traffic channel to my Traffic button. Great radio. I have had it in my truck for about 3 weeks now.
  4. Did you ever get this issue resolved? Any hints? I am installing a Z2, XM, Backup Camera, 6-DVD Player and iPod interface this weekend. Ordered the harnesses and double DIN install kit. It is supposed to interface with the stock AMP on an Infiniti equiped truck.
