I got the image. I was able to clone one and it worked perfectly. I also dump the image sucessfully for anyone that needs it. Steering wheels controls work fine for me as well. If any trouble with link dm. Use imageUSB to write the image to SD card (I used windows 10 btw). I hope this helps someone as it was quite frusting.
