In my 2007 Z71 Tahoe it cost me $239. I had a lot of extra work that needed to be done though; i.e. back up camera, pre-wired Bose system, rear LCD screen, back up / parking sensors, and I had them install it with a bypass so I can input addresses on the fly.

Is there a newer update beyond 2.03? Does the X930 update exist? If so, where can we download?

MusicSphere Won't Analyze All My Songs
ugadawgs311 replied to ugadawgs311's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
My issue is similar to yours. I have about 5,000 songs and only 1,400 were analyzed by MusicSphere. I know some of my songs have DRM but definitely not 3,600. Post back here if you figure anything out and I'll do the same. -
Just coming back to update my status. I ordered my X920BT in November 2010 and just got my rebate today. Also, the rebate company had no record of my rebate; so whenever I would check the status online, it couldn't be "found." So, don't rely too much on the tracking information I guess. I'm just glad it finally arrived.

Album Artwork from iTunes is not showing
ugadawgs311 replied to oceangrown's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
Does the iPod show the artwork when it is not plugged in to anything (i.e. the X920BT, your computer, any other device)? I've had problems like this in the past, where the artwork would show on my computer, but not on my iPod. I was able to fix it by clearing the artwork from the iPod and then reapplying it. If that doesn't work, then delete the songs from your iPod and re-add them from your computer (first, make sure that the artwork is showing in iTunes). -
I've seen it before, and I remember looking at it before I had it installed. I know that there are two connections, one for an amplified system and one for a non-amplified system. I'm wondering if the installers knew that my system was in fact amplified. They may have accidentally used the non-amplified connections. The only way to find out is to look it at I guess, but I really don't want to open up the dash again.

I had the unit professionally installed so I'm not sure if it was installed using the "amplified" connections on the OS4. I surely hope so. But the installers may not have known that a factory amp was present. I'll have to look and see.

Well, I'll be honest, I'm not sure what a potentiometer is, but I used a PAC OS4 as my interface. And yes, I do have OnStar on my vehicle (though I don't use it anymore). It's funny that you mention your back Bose speakers (are you referring to the rear door speakers or the speakers in the way back?), because I noticed yesterday that my rear door speakers hardly have any sound coming from them. It's almost as if the volume was turned way down on them somehow. I would like to see if I could get more volume going into my speakers. I feel as if my speakers aren't receiving as much power as t

I have a X920BT installed in my 2007 Tahoe. The Tahoe came with a factory Bose system (8 speakers, plus sub, and factory amp). I feel like I am getting pretty poor quality from the X920BT. Now I know most of you will say that the problem is the factory Bose system, and it may be. But I really don't plan on replacing all the speakers, sub, and amp. I think the sound quality right now is OK, but it's not bad enough to change everything. So, my question is, does anyone have any suggestions for the audio settings (i.e. loudness, staging, EQ, HPF)? I've played around with all the settings but c

I have the same exact problem. Also had the same problem when I had an AVIC-D3. My guess is that the antenna adapter you have to use to connect the factory antenna to the Pioneer unit decreases the quality a little bit. It is pretty annoying, but then again, I never listen to the radio anymore. I always have my iPod playing.
-
My Dad and I both got a X920BT in December and mailed in our rebates in mid-January. When I check the status online, nothing shows up for me, but when I check my Dad's status, it says "Household Limit Exceeded" (guess I didn't read the fine print well enough). So, does that mean they just threw out both of our rebates? Will they not even honor one of them?

MusicSphere Won't Analyze All My Songs

I bet you're right. Another reason why DRM is so annoying. Good find, thanks for the help. -
I'll give this a shot. I'll also be sure to post if the problem fixes itself once I get the Pioneer cable. I've also noticed a problem when playing video from the iPod; I hear sound, but there is no picture on the screen. I'm assuming that this is also caused by not using the Pioneer cable.

I've checked the SLA settings and bumped it up all the way for the iPod. I think it's my cables honestly. I'm still waiting for my Pioneer iPod cable to be shipped, so in the meantime I'm using a standard white iPod cable (from Apple) and a separate 3.5 mm cable. Hopefully once I get the right cable, this issue will fix itself.
