Anyone?

I just installed a Z2 in my Excursion mostly for my girlfiend to use. The nav unit was the main reason for getting the Z2. She currently has a portable Garmin Nuvi 200 that is hands down more accurate. I was on my way to work this morning and used the Z2 just to see how it routed me. It actually wanted me to get off of the highway and onto the side roads at one point. Then I was looking at the way it wanted me to go home and it wants me to go about 15 miles out of the way. This is a total disapointment and I wish I would have gotten something different. I would hope sinse I just boug

but will this let you transfer the mp3s? I have my IPOD connected now but you can't load the songs onto the hard drive

2003 Ford Excursion with the 6.0 Desiel? I found the backup wire in the PKP Black/Pink (total stroke of luck) any idea on the VSS wire?

Crap looks like I will be burning some CDs. I can't believe with how HiTech this thing is, that it doesn't have a USB port in it.

I just got my Z2 put in and love it. When I was putting it together I noticed the second plug on my factory head unit. My guess is that this is for the rear DVD system and controls. Does anyone have the pin out diagram for this plug? Anyone figured out a way to make that stuff work with the Z2? I am thinking at the least I should be able to find the video signal input to make the rear screen show the dash display. Would be nice to get the rear controls to work too.

Could I take out the hard drive and slave it to a computer to copy them?

I just got a Z2 and put it in today. I was going to do the 2 wire mod but couldn't get the file to download. So I grounded out the E-brake wire and didn't do anything with the other wire and wasn't able to do anything with the CD obviously sinse I couldn't download anything. Anyway with the just the brake wire grounded everything seems to work OK and I can use the GPS while driving. The only thing I get is a warning that says that the brake wire isn't connected correcty. Is the other wire and the software maybe so you can watch a DVD while driving? I haven't tried that yet. O

I did a search but no help. I got my ACIC-Z2 today and am wondering if there is a way to get my MP3 library onto it. An easy way that is.... short of burning each one onto a music CD so the head unit thinks it is a normal CD. My radio will play MP3s burned to a disk but wont put them onto the hard drive. Even if I had to take out the hard drive and put it into a computer to get them on there, it would take months less time than making a music CD of every MP3. Any help?
