  1. fellas, I agree with what Ursus and the other gentleman said 100%. i owned the AVH-p7500dvd and Avic 9dvd units hooked together in the past.. not only was the processing faster on the older unit, but it didn't have these inaccurate and redundant directions i too have had the nav system tell me to get off the current road only to get right back on it.. i too have had the navigation unit try to get me to go through tons of local roads when set on shortest, and far out rods when set on fastest... it appears the D3 is just not smart enough to find a balance between the two. Also,
  2. thanks... the dealer at a local install shop stated the following 1. it has built in bluetooth 2. it has upgraded 80Gb harddrive 3. It has improved voice recognition hey don't kill the messenger, that's why I came here to get the facts... I know I'm a noob, but I've been browsing for quite some time now, and have owned and installed numerous Pioneer nav units over the years, anyway, thanks for the response
  3. So, I've heard rumors that the Z3 is supposed to have built in bluetooth... can any of you guys that have one confirm or deny this... thanks
  4. Actually, that is a common problem with BOSE systems. THe best way to fix this is to install a sound level adjuster (Scosche FAI-3 or SLC-4) between your headunit and your speakers. This will allow you to dial down the volume leaving your headunit going to the amplifiers.... by doing this, you can once again get a very nice range of volume without distortion!
