Thanks for the reply saltshaker. I don't think I need both... I can hook my VSS, Illumination and RAP up directly to the wiring harness. I have a email off to PAC to help answer these questions. i'll let you know how it goes.

Interesting... The wiring harness looks correct but the PAC unit is different. This is from PAC... Looked what fit the Edge and here's the intructions. http://www.pac-audio.com/swixprogrammin ... les&ID=561

Thanks MisFit. I got her in everything is working great with the exception of the steering wheel control. I looked and looked and had a few people check the wiring and all looks good except it won't program the controls. It's hooked up exactly as instructed by PAC.... Also, no idea where the VSS wire is on the Edge. Anyone have any idea???

So that's the prob. My son and Wife both have new ones and neither play the videos only music. It was driving me crazy. It would play on the Ipod but noting would show up on the D3 screen. It would also throw a "error 11". Sucks. Anyone know of or working on a hack??

Can anyone tell if a voltage regulator is needed if you don't have the factory subs? It's just the base unit that came with the edge. The step down from the Shaker 500 I guess. I just don't want that "POP" on start up.

Great site! Did multiple searches and didn't find anything.... Just bought a D3 with Ipod and BT adaptors. I was wondering if anyone had done an install write up or if one from another vehical would work. Thanks in advance!
