I am getting an HTC Touch Pro (which is cell phone that has video out). I also have a slingbox. I want to send the video out of my cell phone to the Avic-d3. The touch pro send the video out using a usb->rca (red, white, yellow) male. How can I get that to be useful for the front 3.5mm video jack of the D3. Slingbox, google maps, and internet on the D3 Screen would be sick!!!!

is it definately a 910 or 920...but anyway the D3 gets all the info from these units and just puts it in the wrong place.... it would be a simple software programming fix to solve this issue

yes you can play music from your pocket pc through bluetooth if it has a2dp profile in it. I have the Mogul (PPC6800) and can stream internet radio or mp3 directly over bluetooth and the quality is great...

1. the guy who installed the unit for me is a good friend of mine and gave me the xm unit for free and I forgot to check it before he installed it and now it in my trunk under panels so I can't look at it. He told me that he thinks it is the 910 model but he can't remember for sure... Regardless, it is a Pioneer Unit and it should do all of the things that your unit does becuase they both get the same information. 2. Your D3 has up and down buttons? Because mine has only Menu, Map, Volume knob, forward and reverse.... I am pretty sure your's is the same way....

I did searches all over the place and I am very confused as to where my speed pulse wire (vss) is on my 2002 MB CLK430 (w208). Some places say it is where the radio was. Other places say in a door sill. Does anyone know exactly where it is and exactly how I should connect it to my D3. I am a novice and would appreciate the help...

I think that you have it set for "North Up" and instead of "Heading Up". There is an arrow on your navigation screen that is red at the end pointing to north. Touch that arrow and it should have you "heading up".

I though that you can make the Ipod always send the video out by default through one of the menus. I was going to ask someone to tell me what to click to get that setting to be automatically...

I have a chance to get an 60gb 5th generation Ipod with a cracked screen. I will only be using this in the car with my avic-d3. Everything should still work right?

I had a avic-80dvd and used the 70mtp disks on them I liked them. Now I bought the D3 and it came with similiar disks, but not the same. I like the city view maps and want to know if i can use the 70mtp disks in my D3

But the CDs do have text on them. I had the avhp6500 and it showed the cd text and names...

1. Why can't I use the two buttons below the volume to go through my presets for XM/FM/AM instead of having them move the channel by 1 (in xm) and by .1(in fm/am)? 2. Why cant the D3 show the XM presets as either the name or channel number, why do I have to memorize them? (I think i have the xm910 or 920 unit, I dont remember) 3. Why doesnt the D3 show the name of the disk in my cd change (i think i have the cdxp-1280) am I supposed to memorize the 12 disks? Thank you for your help...
