  1. take out your telemute wire... and insert it in the other open socket on your wire harness... ground both the wire you just inserted and the p brake wire and boom your done... if done correctly you should not get a warning when you first turn on the unit. Your unit thinks it is being bench tested... I just did this to mine. sometimes the wire will not sit correctly and you must redo... it took me 3 times because the wire would pop out when installed on the unit.
  2. I am not using a pioneer xm box. I have a terk xmd1000 tuner with a pioneer direct adapter. I must tell you this, it does work but only after a retarded routine. I turned the aux on.... and i have to hit the aux source... then reset my avic and the xm source becomes available... anyone ever seen or heard an issue like this.

  4. I have an Avic-D1... i Recently installed it in my 2005 Ford Escape..... My first problem I already know... They circled it for me....Ford...lol Now that thats out of the way no one can say it.... Second problem I have is I did the bypass.... and I am still getting locked out of features... ontop of having to stop my truck for me to set any nav points... so obviously my vss wire is working.... but i get no speedo.... and i cant change my map veiws... also my gps is slightly off.... and i thought with the vss wire it should be quite accurate. it also always has a warning scr
