  1. front on the headunit is audio/video. for the iPhone I have never tested it but I would assume it would be both ways. Apple has a dock connector that has the RCA's on it
  2. I found them on the internet. The disc increments were 1,5, 10, 25, 100, 1000. I needed about 200 for a video that I did and it was just a little bit more to get 1000 then 200. It has been about a year but I just searched for it and was able to find it. I like Verbatim because their hub printable DVDs allow to be printed the closest to the center with not giving me an error every other disc. I have about 300 left and I have only had 8 or 9 that did not burn.
  3. I personally used Verbatim DVD-R DL Inkjet Hub Printable Media that I bought a 10x 100 pack a few months back.
  4. You should save the file. As to where that is up to you. I have a mac and my FTP files are automatically stored in an FTP folder which is divided into sub folders by the FTP server. The desktop would be a good place as it is easy to navigate to
  5. Switch to firefox. The only failed downloads I have had have been IE7 and there is only about 75 people transferring right now so you should be able to get it much quicker.
  6. What browser are you using that you are only get a .part? Please go to the first page where all the information it. It is the very first post
  7. What you need to do is develop a system that connects to a satellite that monitors all GPS transmitters. So something like a TomTom wont set it off and have that information processed and sent to your car via satellite or some form of data connection. Then the system would see your location and that of the other transmitters and turn off your lights when the signals are within a certain predetermined distance. I could get a preliminary shopping list for you. 1.) Apple MacBook Pro - Used for in car processing 2.) Home-built rocket ship* - to get home built satellite into orbit 3.) Hom
  8. I had that problem for a while then when I paired my iPhone I have never had it happen to me again. I tried looking for a way to change that (not that I want to now) but have not been able to find anything. my navigation doesn't pause my iPod anymore if that helps

To clear up any questions you will need to download the entire 2008 West folder and then use your favorite program to create an ISO from the .RARs. the link is ftp://vwinvoices.com/vwinvoices.com/upl ... c_08_west/ the username: guest_uploads the password: guest1234 good luck
  12. 549 completed downloads in a little over 15 hours. If my math is correct that is just about 37 successful downloads an hour. which isn't to shabby
  13. if there are in fact files missing your D3 will not read it correctly and you will having nothing to worry about but a very expensive coaster
  14. The dock connector will work as will the standard headphone jack. I have not used that since my first video iPod but it does work
  15. The Zip file is the only file you will see. I moved the ISO until I test it to make sure it does in fact not work. If it does work I will move it back but the Zip file does work. So download that one and burn like normal
  16. I dont mind my Sirius being louder. I just turn the volume down. I just wish my XM didn't come in so flat sounding, but I only have a few months left on my XM subscription I doubt I will renew it since I listed to Sirius for the most part anyways. The SLA as everyone has said will control the input for both the Sirius and XM
  17. I had to cap the max connection for that user group to 100 MB/s a second because my money making site is up there and I was having trouble with connection speeds for that. Checked my log files and the average download speed is right about 525 KB/s. I have had 498 completed request with 8 failed request and 219 active transfers. -- I am deleting the ISO -- Please download the Zip

IT is up on my FTP
  19. I got one for about $85 shipped. I have been having problems with it not responding to my car starting after it has been sitting for a few hours. Like when I get off owrk I have to open the armrest of my Jetta and hit a key to get the ipod to play. Then it will charge for about a month then stop charging and I will have to bring it into the house and hook it up to the computer.
  20. If you are using toast 9 this is what I have done with great sucess. - Open toast - Click on Disc Copy (should be 2 disc with an arrow) - Click on Image File - Clcik on the select button and browse to the image file (ISO) select it and then click the mount Button. - Then insert your disc and make sure that you turn off DVD compression. - On the burn options click on 1x or 2x and allow it to burn. I have burnt 10 discs so far of the East disc and have had no problems. All of them have worked
  21. $25 plus shipping. Which would give you an almost purchased look. All of my DVD's are printed on giving them a purchased look and feel.
  22. a good night I have over 290 request for the East Disc ISO tonight and my server has been able to keep up. Please continue to download
  23. Use what ever program you use to burn an ISO and it will be close to 8 gigs
  24. It will work for sure on the D3 that is what I have so that is all that I know for sure it will work on. I am assuming that it is the one on the torrent. IF you find the upgrade disc that works on more then that you are welcome to upload it to my server for other people to be able to get ahold of
