  1. Thanks, but where is this located?
  2. Can anyone please tell me where the vss wire is on a 2005 scion tc? Thanks a lot.
  3. Yeah it wont remember once you shut your car off. But all you asked in your first post was how to get back. So untill you shut your car off it will remember. When I found this out it helped me out a lot because you can navigate around the ipod much easier.
  4. You can hit the menu button on the ipod wheel graphic which brings you back one step. Then there is a back button which will bring you back to the artists where you left off.
  5. Im thinking the same thing. Im bringing this back to the installer to have him hook that wire up.
  6. My nav was working great the first couple days I had it. Now all of the sudden the red arrow jumps up and down. Could this be because I don't have the vss wire hooked up? Even though I dont the arrow, for the first few days if I remember moved really smoothly along with the background. Now its all jittery.

  8. Why not have the option for a manual night mode for the nav on the AVIC D3? This way you could just switch back and forth and would not have to rely on headlights. This seems like a big oversight IMO. My friend has a nav that never dims when he put his lights on, its suppose to and its stock. But he can always just turn it on anyway.
  9. Yeah, I do plan on doing that. After all, like you said, the job is not done. But I'd like to know myself, if its easy I can save my self the hassle of bringing it back. Plus Id like to have the knowledge.
  10. I just had my Avic D3 installed in my 2005 Scion Tc and my Illumination says off and also I have no speed pulse and it says simple hybrid. Also my navi is slightly off. So from reading these forums I am assuming the installer did not hook up the VSS or Illumination wire. So, from reading I think my VSS should go to the Orange/Silver wire on the HVAC harness. Is that right? Also how do I get the Illumination feature to work? Because right now the map wont switch to night mode which is really annoying. Thanks for your help!
