No lines on mine. I would say your installer is suspect. The only problem I've had is getting to get my ipod to play video on a consistent basis.

I was driving on I5 and my D3 all of a sudden jumps to LA and recalculates the route from there. I ended up checking the system hardware info and I was getting a speed pulse signal, but the satellite signal was going from good to none, and I was getting an excessive vibration warning. A couple of times it would locate me about a mile to the left of the road I was driving on, and then would go back to LA. It has since reverted to all systems OK in "hardware info", but it won't leave LA When I'm driving, the unit recognizes that I'm making turns, but no forward/reverse motion. Any ideas???

I've got the exact same issue w/ my 5th gen on my N4, but zero issues on my D3.

I'm curious too. My ipod video is hit or miss on my N4. I called Pioneer tech support and they said something about the new ipod software isn't compatible. They said to restore the old software, but if you have iTunes 7 it won't let you do that.
