  1. I too purchased the Kenwood DNX, Garmin XM Traffic Adapter and 3 year extended warranty for $1,360 (paid only $1048 for the unit) using the coupon code AFLKEN1098 at 6ave.com.. Also, remember that 6 ave is an authorized online dealer for Kenwood and Pioneer so you get the 2 year warranty as well as the an additional warranty if purchased.
  2. Here is a website which gave me a substantial discount on a DNx 8120 I'm buying. It also has a great deal of pioneer stuff discounted, mainly at 6ave electronics, an authorized dealer. By the way, sending my f900bt back to crutch today and buying the DNX. http://www.edealinfo.com/ then type in the unit you want in search and you will see a great deal of discounts for that unit. Hope this helps.

  4. I have personally owned a D3, Z2 and Z3(60gig upgrade), a Kenwood DNX8120, and now the F900bt and I can honestly say that I miss my Z3 (sold on ebay for 1000) It was slow, but it was refreshing to have everything working to maximum capacity. The D3 has a great deal of perks, especially the blutooth clarity. The Kenwood was the fastest interface I've experienced but I didnt like the fact that I didnt have the 3D mapping features. Out of them all, I really miss my Z3. I pray that the firmware update allows pioneer to deliver on the high volume of promises of the f series.
  5. thanks, hifisi, I just ordered from Crutchfield and will try the new ipod feature out when it arrives on friday.
  6. So if I use this adapter that goes with the f900bt, then I will be able to use the voice command for ipod. Right now I can listen to music and watch videos from my ipod using the av ipod chords plugged into the av video and audio RCAs. I am just trying to save $50 but I really want the voice command option for my ipod and if this new chord is necessary, then I will buy it. Thanks for any info.
  7. Do you need the Pioneer CD-IU230V ipod adapter to do voice rec for ipod or can I use the av ipod wires and the regular usb ipod adapter for pc?
  8. I had multiple contacts for each name too...I'm not sure if in the "send as V card" will eliminate the extra names.
  9. The circuit city in my neighborhood also has the D3 for $599, but if you prefer best buy, I am sure they will match cc's price.
  10. Your are right. I purchased one two weeks ago, and his directions and the tool he sent definitely made the install easy, even for a novice like me. Plus he's affordable. Keep up the good work bro, youre definitely an asset to this forum.
  11. I totally agree. I have the z2 upgraded to the z3 and I enjoy mostly all the features except the lack of voice command for ipod functionality. I particularly love the 7 inch screen of the z series. I wanted to get the f series for my wife's honda element but have been reluctant because of all the negative reviews. I think I will just wait until they come out with a hybrid of the z and f series to get me and my wife.
  12. I used jetware after trying numerous methods and it worked!!! Definitely, recommend jetware.
