hey wats goin on, umm, im just wondering if anyone knows about a kind of radar detector that when it senses a cop nearby it cuts off a certain power source until the cop is gone.. what i wanna do is install a neon underbody kit that would automatically shut off whenever the detector sensed a cop within like a quarter mile. like i said i dont even know if such a thing exists but hey its worth askin.. Good to hear! (no pun intended) Where did you mount your mic? F series has a built-in mic, no? No. External. Looks like the on that came with the BTB-200, and it plugs directly in the back of the F series o damn i heard it came wit built-in mics...but they come with the F right?

I have 1-2 bars and the connection says "OK"... and I usually have all satellites lit up. Occasionally I get one sat darkened out but usually it's all of them. what bars? theres like 10 that go from the center of the screen to the right and then theres bars that come up next to the satellite icon that look like cell phone bars. if you only have 1-2 bars out of the 10 lit up thats not a good signal. if its the cell phone-like bars then youre connection is good. Yeah I meant bars as in the "cell phone" style bars. The satellite icons (which there are 8 of) are usually all lit up, occ

you can remove the copyrighted watermarks on the splash screen via computer. look at my pic under this post. i have the watermarks cuz i just did it thru the menu but if you go back to page one, passat05 did it thru the computer.

do the 2 wire bypass...it enables you to function the nav settings and to watch movies...if you dont care about watching movies then dont, but it still comes along with the bypass.

you cant 'get' them you have to make them. you can find magnets online somewhere and u cut them down to the size you need.

its been done with no complaints, and its small magnets no bigger than a dime. wont harm your 'new electronics'.

That's what mine is doing right now... I was driving down the freeway last night and it was showing me as driving down a non-existant road to the LEFT of the freeway the whole time. I'll make sure to do the reset right now and see how that goes... it sounds like ur connection status is bad..goto menu -> system -> hardware -> connection status and see.

dont use velcro.....use magnets...keep searching its been done and looks MUCH nicer.
