  1. Speaking of Sirius, how much work would it take to take an existing app and re-write it to work with AppRadio? Is that a completely insane concept?
  2. After update, all my "non built in" app icons have turned grey with "APP" across them.
  3. Also, under "Voice and Sound" in settings, there's some settings that might be useful.
  4. So yesterday during my commute I was in the iPod (hence just the bubble) but today was listening to Pandora, got 2 texts and an app notification and they were visible as notification bars at the top of the phone but nothing came across to the radio. For what it's worth I've got the SBsettings dashboard installed, including an app that pushes music info As a notification bar. Oh and I've got texts and notifications set to notification bar instead of alerts. Could either of these be causing issues?
  5. Hey Mike, iOS 5.01, 2.45 on radio. Before I upgraded to 5.0 I got the message across the top, now I get a popup bubble in the middle with just the time and sender.
  6. Oh and is anyone else not getting notifications? I get the standard "4:34pm text from" pop up but not the actual text like I did with the last version. Same applies to notifications
  7. Anyone else having issues with the SiriusXM app? I can't imagine the two are related, but since AppRadio Extensions is the only thing I've installed lately, I figured I'd mentioned it here. Beginning this morning I get the "You are Logged in Elsewhere" warning in the SiriusXM app approx every 4-5 minutes. My first thought was my password got hacked or something, so I went to the website and changed the password, but it's still occurring.
  8. Launch video is gone, still get standard "don't use when driving" prompt and the "apply / ignore" prompt. Is this what got put back because of the bug? PS-Mike, thanks for this app, it makes all the difference in the usefulness of this product.
  9. I replied as well, I was fair but honest in the scoring categories, and most of my comments were about "more apps", specifically I want SiriusXM support.
  10. I had to restore my iPhone back to a point in time prior to the installation of Extra Mile.
  11. Today I rolled back my iPhone to a backup from December and everything is working fine again. I even updated Pandora again with no incident. So I started thinking and the only other change I made recently was installing the new Extra Mile app. Is it possible that was causing the symptoms even when not in use?
  12. I had only updated the App on my phone (not on my desktop) so I deleted the Pandora app and moved it back on to the phone from the desktop (thus having the previous version instead of the updated) and the problem persists. It also seems to happen if I've got the Appradio app open and connected, but am looking at only the clock screen. In every other app however (Motion X, Ipod, Inrix, Google Map, etc.) this issues never occurs (or when displaying unsupported apps like Netflix and Slingplayer). That all considered, I should be able to rule out any sort of hardware issue, right?
  13. I updated Pandora a few days ago (to version 3.1.19) and ever since, about a minute into play the screen kicks out to the "viewing while driving" warning screen (with the OK greyed out). The only way to get back is to home button out and go back into apps. Music keeps playing, steering wheel controls still work and nothing seems to change on the phone. This only occurs with Pandora. Screen stays where it should with any other app in the foreground. Anyone else?
  14. Is trapping your phone in the dash truly "liberating" it? Oh and "buy it and then maybe we'll make it"? No thanks
  15. That looks very cool, but hardly something worth comparing to app radio. Appradio is an aftermarket item costing $300 This is a dealer upgrade that will probably cost $3000.
  16. As long as they treat this like Apple and make the annual upgrades hardware based, while they software continue to support all (or most) previous versions, I won't complain.
  17. I have the very rare, occasional skipped command, but nothing as full scale as that.
  18. Any chance of seeing an update to this? I really miss some of the functionality, especially having notifications relayed to the display.
  19. It sounds like you got a bad unit. I've not had a single one of these problems, and my lone complaint (difficulty getting back to app screen) has been resolved with the most recent firmware update.
  20. I noticed in the car today that, maybe as a byproduct of the new notification center, there's a square, mid screen popup displayed with basic notification info on screen now. "text from Bob 1:23" "AVSForum 2:14" etc.
  21. It seems iOS5 has jacked up this app, am I alone in that experience?
  22. I had the axis controller installed at install and it has made all the difference. I love my app radio, but I couldn't imagine using it without steerig wheel controls.
  23. This has been a big topic of discussion within the jailbreaking world, and from what's been discussed it seems this letter goes out to anyone with high data usage in hopes of getting you to switch to their pricey tethering plan. It's believed they have no way of telling whether you're tethered or not. I tether occassionally with MyWi and never gotten this letter. Also, from what I gather, the letter is an empty threat, and that there aren't any reported cases of people being changed against their will. To follow up with what PJ said, no, the appradio apps do not qualify as "tethering
