  1. Actually, plain SD will go to at least 4GB. Here are 3 Transcend 4GB cards (Newegg.com). Correct! 8GB or better requires SDHC support. pat----
  2. I contacted my local authorized "Premier" dealer, Tweeter. Received this reply last night ... I guess this gives me a chance to see some feedback from the early adopters before I spend any green. pat----
  3. Good to hear ... that's what I have as well. pat----
  4. mikeinnj, Considering I don't have an ipod, and really don't like the idea of installing iTunes ... The idea of going Apple Lossless isn't one I'd take lightly. I have a very good 60GB HDD based player now and really don't need a new one, so I'd really have to think going Apple over hard. But ... the time may come. pat----
  5. omniphonix & CamelTowing, Hot damn, SDHC and 32GB!? 16GB was the largest I saw in NewEgg ... 32GB?? I could be a very happy man. That would hold a nice chunk of my 320kbs collection. Heck, it MIGHT actually hold all I have now ... will have to check. Wish someone made a car unit that would play FLAC. I'd love to move my collection to a lossless compression format. Thanks for the news. I'm becoming more and more interested in one of these units. pat----
  6. Regarding the SD card slot ... does anyone know whether it's limited to basic SD (max 4GB) or is there a chance that it supports SDHC (max 16GB)? Thank you, pat----
  7. I'm shopping for a replacement head unit for my car and am very intrigued by the preliminary reports on the AVIC-F series. But I have two concerns ... 1) how readable are these types of displays in bright daylight, for example under a large sunroof or in a convertible with the roof down (I'm assuming these displays are similar to the already shipping D, N & Z series)? 2) how readable are these types of displays through good, polarized sunglasses? Thank you, pat----
