Hey Danno, Is it that serious of a thing. All I did was ask a question and it was answered. I thought the purpose of this forum was to ask questions regardless of how simle the may be to others. I rearly post, ask question or anything on this forum. I normally just read and go from there. You may be well versed in this area, I if thats the case hats off to you. Hi Etienne, The reason is that there are a couple of text (HTM) files that contain the version information in the root of your flash, if you change them for the ones in the Ver 3 download fron The pioneer site your version number will then be correct. and guess what, i have those files on my web site for download

why create an automatic system as it is actually only updating WinCE and then deleting APL, DATA & ALP2 and then copy new APL, DATA & APL2 on the deck...

i uploaded with filezilla and indeed it timed out many times but i just reconnected while let it run and by the end it all was there. but cutting it in smaller files might be better indeed.

i just used a SD card with the Testmode and a USB stick for the image / file transfer. At the moment we only need the APL2 directory as far i can guess.

did you try to ftp to www.turboss.com? make an zip file of the APL2 directory as that's enough for us. or PM me

no, as this update doesn't include new maps. and that ezrider doesn't work with your current maps. and the UK always walks a couple years behind the rest. so, no because you will break your navi part of your deck.

yeah, that was a bit stupid from me to include those details but there was some one who crashed his deck. so i uploaded a fresh image directly from my deck to help him. removed my image since that person has his deck up and running again

i have uploaded that image for people who broke there decks without a working backup and lost there 2008 maps. i'm also very impressed how stupid some people are and in need of some reading specs! the name of the file clears it all isn't it? my goodness...

Good job, I wont bother doing mine then. Bear in mind to anyone using Bitmans image, you MUST update the WinCE manually first. this image is for persons who have installed the US version and deleted their 2008 maps... and don't have a backup.

he only thing i can add to this is why not using a USB stick for the My Flash Drive. any way my image of my UK F900BT V3 Firmware (no new maps) only is uploaded on my web site
