  2. Need help here! I get a Avic N3 GPS module with all the wires, plug it in the headunit but it only powr up the rear fan, there's nothing on the front display and no backlight on the front panel or detachable faceplate. I can hear the fan spinning for 20 seconds and then shuts off, and then it powers up again for 20 seconds. any suggestions??
  3. Oh thanks. I will get the data cable, and the gps antenna...
  4. Verify that you have good connections and all the fuses are making good contact and are clean, it happened to me a few weeks ago.
  5. OK, but the headunit will show any signs of power if I test it without the hide away module?
  6. Hi, i'm new here, its a great web. I have an AVIC N3 that don't power up, I don't know if the hide away module is needed to power it up, but i read on other forums that the headunit will power up and don't show any images on the screen without the hide away module. I put 12 volts on my headunit and don't show any signs of power, no front lights and no fan. I buy it throught ebay as-is, and its missing the GPS antenna,RGB cord and remote control. It included a AVIC N2 module, but I think this will not work with this headunit. Any advice???
