Right under the clock plastic. Full reception, and even in New York City in Times Square I haven't had GPS reception problems.

(all pics are click-able for high-res): This would be the best headunit ever, if they fixed the hundred-odd problems with the firmware, most of which they could have discovered by driving with one for 5 minutes. What is cool is the voice command and bluetooth (integrated) phone craps work just finej (for now). So the first week/two were just fine, but now with or without nav, on SD music or DVD music/divx, it will randomly reboot at least once per day (1-2hr of driving). I can force the reboot by pausing a divx video and just keeping it on pause (really pisses me off when I'm using my oldschool bluetooth headset or when someone else in the car is on the phone). I have no workaround or repeatability besides the pause-->reboot.

Yeah, doesn't fix the day/night auto switch for the GPS themes... I was driving at 3am and all of a sudden the thing turned neon white because it thought it was 1pm in the afternoon. *sigh*.

Curiously, anybody ever hooked up the reverse wire to a switch to have a rear-view camera while driving? (i.e. highway, etc.)

...if you want to buy me one I'd gladly take that last option. Thing is I have two ipods as-is... one 4th gen classic which works superbly with 20gb and one mini which is 4gb, neither of which have ever come close to being full. I can't justify the price for a 30gb/60gb video classic when they're still $250+.

Finally got back from business trip. Resetting factory settings doesn't work. Neither does turning off power and pushing reset button, or turning power on and pushing reset button. Does anybody know a way to clear the entire system back to first-time use? I looked through the manual's 3 ways and none of them remove my boot screen so none of them are truly clearing everything out.

There's a repeat function, and a DVD/divx setup button under fuction, but no random. : ( With DVDR prices so cheap, I may just use a file randomizer and rename them with a random 3-number header and burn 5 different "randomized" discs. Sucks that I have to do this though...
