this happend to one of my avic n2 units (bought on ebay) the previous user messed up on the solder points..and it looks like its been dremel'ed off. what i did was opened up the unit, and did the N1 bypass (the board is identical in the inside as an N2) now my unit is completly bypassed (and upgraded to m70 disc)

i need the VSS wire for an 95 4Runner SR5. thanks

so i got everything up.... but there is no video?? all i hear is sound from the local network.. can anyone help?

Not sure if I just connect it directly to the IP-Bus?? DOes the IP-Bus provide 12v power? ...or simply audio/video? SO my question is, if a single IP-Bus does not provide power, do I tap tap the wires from the tv tuner into my harness? Thanks

what controls are available on the N1 with the ipod adapter? (back, forward, next, skip, ff, etc?) And, it is to my understanding that i must use the hard buttons, rather than touchscreen? thanks.

Will an N1 unit work with the IB100 Ipod Adapter? ...everywhere I reads, it states N2 and up. DO any of you guys recommend it? any info appreciated.

help guys i bought a used Avic-N1 on craigslist with no nav disc bought it home, powered it up, and grounded the e-brake wire and I can play dvd movies. what are my options? i need a west disc. I see someone on ebay selling the CNDV-40MT West Coast Version 1.2. -if i put that in my system will it upgrade and lose my mod? HOW can I tell if my system is updated in the first place? thanks
