  1. Mine just started going to black screen after the splash screen today, out of the blue... After reading this thread, and seeing what I have to do to fix it... I'm pissed off. I've already done the updating process twice now, being an early adopter... Now, to see that I'm going to have to dick with this thing on my day off tomorrow for a few hours, just has me REALLY ticked off and hating Pioneer at this point. Of course, no dealer is going to offer to fix it, and I'm sure they're not warrantying any of this crap. *middle finger* to Pioneer... never again.
  2. Excuse my n00bness... can somebody point me in the direction I need, to access these directories where I replace the data files? Mine is un-modded and the only thing I've done is the bypass mod, and the 2.0 update.
  3. Yeah, I see there's two different XM modules listed... The one that you mentioned, the GEX-P10XMT, and the other is the GEX-P920XM The GEX-P920XM is half the price of the one you suggested. I'm curious what the difference is? On the pioneer site, it says the P10 has NavTraffic but the F-series uses MSN Direct for traffic, right? I want the station logo displayed, so is that something that only the P10XMT will do?
  4. Apparently, things have changed and you need to buy like 2 pieces now to get the XM to work? Does anybody know EXACTLY what I need to add XM to my F900bt? Model numbers or part numbers of the pieces I need would be EXTRA awesome... I'm sick of my same old iPod music!
  5. Yep... replaced the ipod cable, and it's been fine for about a month now!
  6. It could have been coincidence... because I didn't have ANY issues for about 2 weeks, then all of the sudden, they started.....
  7. Is yours just on the ipod source too? It's so random, and inconsistent, it's hard to troubleshoot...
  8. Nope... nothing works... I've tried 3 iPods now... they all do the same thing. Do you think it could be the cable? Everything else is flawless! As soon as I switch to Ipod, it's distorted, and the balance is all screwed up... :(
  9. I'm much happier now! Much brighter, responds better.... the VR catalog is nice to only have to do once... and most importantly my bluetooth is usable! I'm sure they'll be more updates in the future, but this is a GREAT start.
  10. Could it be a bad ipod cable? Like I said, every source EXCEPT ipod plays crystal clear! Then sometimes the ipod will sound ok, and slowly get worse and worse as I'm listening. The connections are all tight on the ipod cable. UUGHHH!!!!
  11. Try a different source... Mine cuts out when playing iPod, but sounds 100% fine when I use a CD... I really hate this thing.
  12. So... here's what I've found... When I use the "CD" source, everything is FINE! Speakers sound great, nice and even. As soon as I switch to the iPod, it's horrible! Balance is off, sound is distorted, and it gets worse and worse as time is going by... When is the damn update!!!!
  13. It's an all-factory stereo, un-amplified... I'll try the master reset later...
