  1. Will try that. It would suck if I have a bad SD port... Hate to remove all that and ........ahhhh Thanks!
  2. yup i used a ipod convertor to make it a mp4 file. video works through ipod but the same video does not through the sd card...
  3. hmm... wonder why mine isnt working it was at fat32 and 512mb with a mp4 clip on it... can it be a faulty sd card slot??
  4. Hello, I have a SD card that I put in the 700BT and nothing shows up. I put a movie on it a MP4 format but nothing shows up. This SD card works fine everywhere else... Should there be a certain format the SD card should be? Thanks

    Upload language?

Is it possible to upload different language support for music? Like I have some foreign music and want to be able to read it. No? Yes? Thank you.
  6. I have the 8330 from Sprint. Was able to transfer over all my contacts BUT...can't dial! I just found this out. I can receive calls with no issues and speak with no static but dialing is a different issue. Maybe I should try to reset it. But all I did was option->bluetooth->let others find my device->ok Then on the navi phone settings and connection. After the phone connected you can just transfer... at least thats what i did...
  7. yea that "hiss" when it comes from overlay. ie: navi and voice prompt... other than that it seems to be holding up pretty well. i guess a firmware will make it better.
  8. Ok. I just installed this in my car. With all the negative comments I read... I am experiencing none. Bluetooth works fine. People on the other side could hear me fine and I could hear them fine. Just sometimes doesn't connect instantly. Startup takes less than a minute. Ipod works well. VR works flawlessly too. Navigation is near perfect. I don't know...but I am very happy with this unit. Only downside is that the navigation voice is either a guy or a robotic girl. And plus there is minor "static-y" noise when they speak. Other than that...great product!!!
  9. great install! quick question though...how does that glossy finish look in person? would you prefer a matte finish to go along with your dash?
  10. wow august 3rd... might as well pick up the 700bt. don't need dvd or msn.

    MSN Direct

Hello, Just wondering is MSN Direct really worth it? I saw the website and MSN direct does offer lots of things but only weather, gas, movies, and traffic on the F-Series. Do you think that a new firmware upgrade from Pioneer might include the extras that MSN Direct offers for others? Such as news, events, and others? Or would that require a hardwire change... Thanks.
  12. so i guess it all comes down to warranty. if you are willing to give up the pioneer warranty then buy it from anywhere. if you want the warranty buy it from the authorized dealer.
  13. I just wanted to see which unit people tend to buy. If you can post a reason why you picked up that unit, that would be great too! Thanks!.
  14. yea wilddigital is bad... if you read their description closely it says "europe" for the 900BT
  15. Ah... I didn't know that Pioneer wouldn't honor the warranty... Thanks for the replies.
  16. I see. Even though they state that they are completely new, it still isn't a good idea? How about eBay?
  17. For example... autotoys.com http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=10835 And wilddigital too has the 700BT for 605 and 900BT for 751. A LOT cheaper than crutchfield...
  18. I was just curious, there are a lot of retailers online selling the F900's for around less than $800. Are they legit? Seems to good to be true...
  19. thanks for the clearup in regards to the format.
  20. Thanks for the reply. I forgot about the MSN Direct. Is that service worth it? Just out of curiousity, do more people tend to purchase the 700 or the 900/90 So can I play .avi and .mpg from my SD card on the 700? Thanks again.
  21. Thanks for the replies again. Great forum, and great people here! I guess paying about $100 more for the 900BT is worth it. As if I recall correctly didn't someone say that loading up with the iPod connected takes like 1-2 minutes while without takes 30 seconds? Thanks again.
  22. Thank you for the reply. So the 900/90 can actually play actual DVD's? Do you know what format these units can play? According to Pioneer's site, it says that the 900/90 are the ones that can play DIVX and not the 700. Is that true? Thank you.
  23. Thanks for the reply. Another member has mentioned that it may have to be in a certain format to play off of an SD card for the 700BT. Do you or anyone know what format it has to be in? Thank you again.
  24. Hello, I tried to search the forums and can't find a definite answer. I was wondering for the 700BT, can you play movies from the SD card or iPod while moving if you do the bypass? Or is the ability to watch movies only for the 900BT/90BT. Thank you.
  25. just curious...can you watch movies on the 700BT? say .mpg/.avi files from the SD card? Or is that the function only from the 900BT/90BT Thanks.
