  1. Changes are NOT saved. Have you reboot back to testmode and see? Or am I missing something? How do you save the changes permanently?
  2. Hey thanks ryooki for all the work, we greatly appreciate it.
  3. I noticed that some had changed the green/blue box. But it does not seem to be a .bmp I think is part of coding… right. Could something like this be done?
  4. Does leetcoder knows about this... He probably can figure something out.

  6. Can Windows CE 5.00 (in my F500BT) can be upgraded to version 6.0 R2? If is possible, is it worth it? http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/embedded/bb894656.aspx Soon Windows Embedded 2009 http://connect.microsoft.com/windowsembedded

  9. Well apparently is kind of placebo effect. I rebooted in safe mode and the changes were not saved. Also by mistake a created a new folder, then after rebooting on safemode the folder wasn’t there. One more thing… I calibrated the stylus in win CE (5.0) and every time that I reboot in safe mode I have to the same thing. So… I’m assuming that CE is not saving the changes. Try to change the virtual memory and then reboot again, see if the changes were applied.
  10. leetcoder You are OUT of your mind... this awesome... finally... I can't hardly wait 'til you have the Emulator to work. You're DA MAN !!!
  11. Let me get this straight... Are you saying that maybe you will be able (and someday we also) to emulate the GPS software so we can test it on the PC before saving on the Pioneer's??? That would be awesome.
  12. From Microsoft Website Fast Interrupt Mode on ARMv6 and ARMv7 Microprocessors Not Supported 8/28/2008 The ARM v6 and ARM v7 microprocessors include a fast interrupt mode. Windows Embedded CE 6.0 does not support this mode. Proper support for fast interrupt mode requires changes to the kernel and the compiler. Do not use fast interrupt mode because it changes the behavior of some instructions, such as load multiple and store multiple. These instructions are normally atomic instructions. That is, they complete all their work before returning or allowing an interrupt. In fast i
  13. Yeaaaa.... Thanks so much for that valuable info... We all appreciate it. I can't wait to put my hands on an emulator !!!

I don't think anyone have the emulator to work yet with the Pioneer software. Even there is a flash video from Lunar-Eclipse but only shows how to run the emulator, but the actual DATA.zip file is not showing. I'm trying to put a documentation together for everyone to use, but the emulator does not run the FXXXBT data files. Anyone have really made the emulator to fully work? Anyone... Anyone?... Some brilliant minds out there willing to help? Thanks.
  15. Hahahahhaha... well... that's true
  16. Thank you. Also I will try to make a tutorial for the Emulator once I can make work myself.
  17. I was able to run the emulator. However the then navigator won't start, if I click the "Tel" I get an error and if I click on the Navi, I get a white window with NaviMain. I’m using: Microsoft Device Emulator V2 (8.0.60801.00) and when the emulator starts it says Windows Mobile 6.1

  19. Is out there a downloadable backup that someone may be created for a case like this? Post link please. Also I can provide you with mine, but my device is F500BT. I don’t know if it’s going to work.
  20. I just downloaded again (testmode.zip) and all the files are in there
  21. Step 1: Well first, when you copy the Testmode.zip files to the SD card, those files help you to access your unit Operating System (Windows CE) mode, right?!! If you don’t have that, Pioneer GPS system will start instead. Step 2: Once you are in Windows CE mode, you need to copy the files that makes the GPS work… those files are the one you will modify (in case that you want to hack your system) You copy those files to the SD card, then you copy them to your computer and do the changes (hacking, change text, car icon, and all those things which are on the forums) one your done modifying t
