could the fact that i have daytime running lights be the reason that the night mode doesnt come on?

so i got the bypass for the z1 and it doesnt go on night mode. it never really bothered me, i've had the z1 for a while, just wanted to know what i could do about it, if anything can be done at this point in time.

i made a few backgrounds for mine! interlagos plaid vw fast and then my signature.... enjoy =)

i have a custom made mount for the z1 (it doesn't look very good either, but whatever) and its on the mount underneath the z1.

they don't really wanna go back and have to dismantle everything again to hook up the wire. ugh.. but anyway, do you know where i can get this speed sensor generator?

i have a 2006 gti. also, the z1 seems to be working fine without it. why do i really need it?

they couldn't find my speed pulse wire and now they're telling me to buy this thing. he told me if i wanted to search for it to type in, "pac can2 speed pulse." i searched and found nothing. can anyone here tell me what i need to get and where i can get it??? also about how much would it cost me? thanks!
