I took a trip to vegas this last weekend in traffic and my gps keep telling me to get off on the next exit just to get back on the freeway from the same street. This saves no time at all since you have to wait for the traffic light to get back onto the freeway. Am I missing something or does MSN traffic just suck? Is there a setting somewhere I can tell it not to route me off unless it can save me so many minutes? I have yet to find any use for MSN traffic information since I don't trust it at all. This may make me sound stupid but I can't find an easy way to add to my favorites after the latest mod. Before when you enter an address it brought you to a page where you could route, add to favorite, add waypoint, etc. Now it just routes as soon as you type the address. I was able to add a favorite finally by clicking on plan mode, clicking on the destination on the map, clicking on the red target thing, then adding to favorite but this seems to be a real round about way of doing it. Is there a easier way or an option to get that old menu back?

I'm trying to activate Garmin XT but I can't figure out how to get my Unit ID. I was able to get into the system -> about menu and find the device ID. I popped the deviceID into IMEI_converter.exe but it claims my deviceID is invalid. My device ID is 1610781417. Can someone confirm if I'm using the right device ID as the IMEI? If you could convert it for me then that would be even better. Thanks.

Installed 2.006 and everything still works. Testmode however is gone. I will try leetLoader sometime.

The format and recopy works for me!!! I'm still going to install the new 2.0006 firmware. The only hiccup I had is I forgot the name of the partition when I remade it. I called it 'pat0'. Looking at the other partitions they are labeled 'pat00' and 'pat01' but for some reason I think the My Flash Disk was called 'pat0'. Can anyone confirm if I'm right or wrong? Either way it remounted as 'My Flash Disk' so I'm pretty sure its okay. I hope the new firmware fixes this so no one has to go through this again.

Tried deleting the gpsbin files and the contents of user/UserData. I have some files in UserData that wont delete. I think they are corrupt somehow. I moved them out of the way rebooted and it did not work. I tried to copy the full backup I found on the forums but I ran out of disk space. I'm going to try formatting MyFlashDisk and then doing the full copy again. I saw the new 2.0006 update came so I guess thats next.

Read up on the disabling the rear view camera thing. It didn't work for me. I also tried switching the the rear camera setting to ground instead of battery and rebooting with the reset, reset + eject, and removing ground on the car battery. Everything is still the same and rebooting. I'm trying testmode next.

Add me to the list of pissed off F-Series owners with reboot problems. Started about two weeks ago. I have a F-900 and it gets to the menu screen but has the starting up message at the bottom that wont go away. If I try to enter maps it just gets stuck there at the warning screen. System reboots after a few minutes. I have not hacked mine yet and have had the 2.0 firmware since it came out. No problems at all till now. Probably around 100. I had the same problem initially. I think I put the avic in address book receive mode then used the blackberries transfer tool. In the end I think it just sat there and never let me know it was done. But when I exited and entered contacts, all my contacts where there. It still kind of sucks though because you get one icon per phone number of each person. It makes it hard to call a person's home instead of there cell phone since there is no visual distinction other then color.
