  1. Great update. Most noticeable: 1. Faster boot up 30 secs 2. Touch screen controls much more sensitive. Can we delete all the extra files this thing put on the SD cards I assume? Time
  2. Defintely buggy, but alot for the money and price point. All in one unit. I'd do it again. Time
  3. See this post for some techniques. http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php? ... highlight= Time
  4. Thanks Hifi. You need to be made a mod around here! Time
  5. What video format's play on SD? I added some MPEGs, loaded my SD card, switched to Video, and it says "Impossible to play all videos". Why? I dropped the vids in a Video folder I created parallel to a music folder I have with my MP3s. Thoughts or success with this appreciated. I have a 900BT. Time
  6. Here the email from Pioneer below. Said to address everything EXCEPT boot up time length: July 21, 2008 Dear Valued Customer Re: Free Firmware Update for AVIC-F90BT, AVIC-F900BT & AVIC-F700BT We would like to inform you of the availability of a free firmware update for three AVIC-F Series navigation systems (AVIC-F90BT, AVIC-F900BT, and AVIC-F700BT) to improve overall system performance and to resolve certain software issues. This notice explains how to obtain the free firmware update and how to determine if the firmware update has already been installed on an AVIC-F Series navi
  7. Anonomis, You are a king among men. Your approach worked for my 8310 and assume would work for most generation Blackberry phones. The categories helped keep the pair alive and made the phone book transfer seemless. This should be a sticky for Bberry users having problems pairing with the F-Series. This works! REMINDER: Be sure to delete your original pair settings on both your phone and the AVIC and go into this new category based pair from a clean slate to ensure it works!! Time
  8. Had the same problem "Fatal Error" and will try this approach. You'd think the unit might come up with something more graceful when this problem occurs!! Felt like an error message from a mid 90's Windows 3.1 PC! Cryptic! Time
