I'm contemplating swaping out factory head unit in my 08 SD also. Is there any chance on reusing the Sirius? I read somewhere that the Ford unit is made by Pioneer and that the plugs match the Z2 - is that true? I have the factory Sub...do you know of any issues other than getting the correct harness? Thanks!

Anyone know the availability status of the upgrade disk? I've called the 3 install shops near me that sell Pioneer and they are clueless. I also called Pioneer on Friday and the customer-no-service guy didn't know if it had been made available yet. Thanks.

I also had a terrible echo problem when I paired my 8525 and Z1. Even when upgrading to WM6, the echo was still there. But there is a known problem with the Bluetooth Stack, so the echo wasn't a surprise.

I've had the Z1 for 4 months. I'd like to have more control over what info is shown on the navigation screen. I'd like to have the minor roads show at a higher map scale. I also have the Garmin 2820 and I like the various location, direction, heading, time, etc blocks that can be shown on its screen, with the Z1 had more control over that. I have saved about 80 CDs to the hard drive. I find I use it more than my ipod. I'd like to have the ability to turn off the bluetooth. Have the Daytime/Nightime Background change with the Dawn and Dusk time of Day rather than when I turn on the headlights. That's the way Garmin does it and it just makes sense. I hate having to manually change it since I often drive with my lights on during the day. BTW - new here to the forum...but very impressed with what I've learned thus far.
