  1. I already have the F90BT. I've never had any problems with it crashing or locking up. I do agree however that it is tremendously slower at boot-up than the D3, but I would guess that is at least partially due to the fact that the F90 is running from a hard drive vs the memory built into the D3. I bought a new Ford truck with a Sony Sync system with nav, bluetooth and hard drive (among a bajillion other "toys" on the unit). I traded off a car that I had previously installed the F90BT in and removed the system before the trade. My D3, although booting much faster, is a real pain having to l
  2. I plan to upgrade my jeep from the D3 to an F90BT that I just took out of the car I just traded off. The problem is, I put both systems in the cars several years ago and remember very little about the connections. Does anybody know if the plug connections on the back of a D3 are the same as the F90BT making it a quick change or am I going to be out in the driveway in the cold for an extended time rewiring for the F90BT?
  3. I have two pioneer navigation systems in my two cars. Two years ago I first put the Avic-D3 in my wifes car and it works great. It is so accurate that it always indicates which way the car is facing. I could drive the car in tight circles and the the vehicle icon on the screen would indicate this. Then last Year I bought and installed the Avic-F90BT in my 2006 F150 truck but this system has never been as accurate. It never knows which direction the vehicle is facing unless I am actually moving down the road. I could actually pull out of my driveway and get 50 ft down the road before the s
  4. Vss and Reverse wires are both connected. My antenna is on the center of the dash. I've checked satelite strength and that is all good with the antenna at this location.
  5. I've spent hours searching these forums but they've gotten so big I just can't find an answer to this question... With my D3, I could drive in small circles and the vehicle indicator on the map always displayed, in real time, the direction the vehicle was facing. Since installing the F90BT in my F-150, I'll back out of my driveway and can actually get 75-100 feet down the road before the vehicle direction may be properly displayed on the map. Is this a flaw or am I missing a setting somewhere?
