i HAVE THE 700 UNIT. I often have to press the touchscreen buttons multible times to get it to function. Is this common? I did the screen calibration. I have latest update, but still have to wait awhile for unit to work from start up. There must better GPS out there, but I am keeping this.

How do I change the color of the selected route in 3D. It seems the intended route is always green with a red arrow, and the background is mainly blues and shades of greens, therefore my desired route gets somewhat lost on the screen. I have a 700 unit. This is not an issue on a highway, but when when making tight fast turns in a city, the selected route gets lost on the screen. Also, I do not think there is choice of routing? In my other GPS I can select fastest, shortest time, type of roads, etc.

why not simply purchase another unit from your vendor, and when the new unit comes in, mail the old unit back for a credit. No downtime and make sure your vendor cooperates first. By the way, if you used a credit card to buy it, federal law provides that items purchased by credit card that are defective, can be returned for a full refund. Also, even if the vendor does not accept it, you could mail it to pioneer for warranty service, and bypass the vendor.

Since we are all stuck with North Up in 2d mode, it is possible to contact either Nav N Go or IGO, and purchase software that allows 2D mode to track upwards, that will work with our F series units? I assume the answer is Yes, but we would loose many other features we now have.

It is possible to load a Nav software that allows map in 2D to follow our direction? Can we buy software from the same vendor Pioneer uses now to a version that allows this. I assume not, as we probally loose all the features of the F series. How hard would it be for Pioneer to do this?

I will take any of you "know it alls" for a ride in my plane, and then tell you to read the manual to land it. We shall see how smart you are. The manual is 188 pages, so telling anybody to simply read the manual is no simple process. Stop being arrogant. If you feel the answer is to easy, then simply shut up, or be nice and answer. Can of you hackers find a way to allow my 700bt in 2d mode to not always point north up? Is it possible, or must we wait for Pioneer, and they will not do it I was told? thanks.
