i HAVE THE 700 UNIT. I often have to press the touchscreen buttons multible times to get it to function. Is this common? I did the screen calibration. I have latest update, but still have to wait awhile for unit to work from start up. There must better GPS out there, but I am keeping this.

How do I change the color of the selected route in 3D. It seems the intended route is always green with a red arrow, and the background is mainly blues and shades of greens, therefore my desired route gets somewhat lost on the screen. I have a 700 unit. This is not an issue on a highway, but when when making tight fast turns in a city, the selected route gets lost on the screen. Also, I do not think there is choice of routing? In my other GPS I can select fastest, shortest time, type of roads, etc.

why not simply purchase another unit from your vendor, and when the new unit comes in, mail the old unit back for a credit. No downtime and make sure your vendor cooperates first. By the way, if you used a credit card to buy it, federal law provides that items purchased by credit card that are defective, can be returned for a full refund. Also, even if the vendor does not accept it, you could mail it to pioneer for warranty service, and bypass the vendor.

Since we are all stuck with North Up in 2d mode, it is possible to contact either Nav N Go or IGO, and purchase software that allows 2D mode to track upwards, that will work with our F series units? I assume the answer is Yes, but we would loose many other features we now have.

It is possible to load a Nav software that allows map in 2D to follow our direction? Can we buy software from the same vendor Pioneer uses now to a version that allows this. I assume not, as we probally loose all the features of the F series. How hard would it be for Pioneer to do this?

I will take any of you "know it alls" for a ride in my plane, and then tell you to read the manual to land it. We shall see how smart you are. The manual is 188 pages, so telling anybody to simply read the manual is no simple process. Stop being arrogant. If you feel the answer is to easy, then simply shut up, or be nice and answer. I just spoke with tech support at pioneer. The f series will be discontinued soon. As a result, do not expect many --if any-upgrades to follow. They may make a few minor revisions. A bummer.

i found it--but you guys were asses. you could have said download the manual and search that way. the manual is 143 pages...so telling someone go look is acting like an ass

Is there any way to change keyboard to put all letters in alphabetical order? Any way to get gps to offer different routes, like fastest or shortest options? And wow, POI are not listed by distance, by by alphabetical name? Everyone wants shortest. 700bt

So yesterday was my first real day with the 700bt....I might trade it for the 90b as MSN is giving a $200 rebate, so a price wash? Anyway, I was looking for a gas station on my route. How do I find nearest one. I hit POI, gas stations, and about 25 brand name labels appeared, like citgo, essso, etc, all in alphabetical order. That was useless to me...how do I find CLOSEST ONE, without wading through each one listed in alphabetical order? There is gotta be a way. I hate samantha's voice, I went back to the guy. I hate only north up in 2d. Can't a hacker fix that? Otherwise, uni
