Mine did exact same thing. Plus, it wouldn't eject all the way. Once I 'persued' the DVD to leave it's comfy home inside the N1, I noticed the media had a bunch of light scratches on it's surface. I polished it with some Brasso and used a very soft buff, making sure it was completely free of the Brasso returned it to the unit. Works now 'c' Interesting, will mine doesn't have any scratches and I guess for the mean time I will have to downgrade back to the 60MT. Where is the RESET button on the D2??

I bought mine off of ebay, inserted the new disk and it upgraded and worked. But then the next day I got a message saying "This is not the apprporiate disk" "PLease insert the appopriate disk" whats up with that? I want to scroll thu the ipod itself, because from what I read. If trying to scroll thru the unit, its vey slow, especially if you ahve like 1000 songs. But I was curious, I have a mp3 cd with about 150 songs, and I think it's kinda slow scrolling one by one, however your able to skip like every 10. anyone??

I bought mine new, but it the box is not sealed. From all the pics on ebay, I don't see any boxes sealed in a wrapper.

What is the general purpose of the ILL Wire, does it need to be hooked up?

I looked at my Box for the D2 and it says Feb-06 and I want to make sure I have the corret hack/mods to make it work. I want to be able to change destinations while driving which means. -I will need to ground the parking brake wires. In addition, I'm planning to buy a PS2 to play games and watch DVD, but I would like to use it while the car is in motion.
