  1. I hate to say it, but it's user error. The head unit is working as it should. To put it in NOOB terms, the iphone is like a keyboard to a computer. The type of keyboard (basic or Gaming)has different options and the computer although unchanged, reacts diffent. Simply put, the iphone is an enhanced keyboard and will react as defined by its' IOS manual. By all means don't take this personal, as I too would never read the manual. What made me read the full not quick start manual, was when I noticed one day, that the majority or people having problems with tech were old dogs (persons 60yrs to 80y
  2. Thats because during this step it just replaces the current files. if in step 8-4 is blank, you do not have the files to update. Pioneer tells me that you will have to send in the unit for repair.
  3. On my F90 I only see the custom background during the load screen. Is this normal? I really like how the Z shows the background all of the time.
  4. I called Pioneer today about the no TTS issue and they told me to send in my unit. Has anyone sent their unit in? If so what is the turn aroud time?
  5. Maybe you guys can help me with the following; I have no option for TTS, but this error occurred prior to the update. Upon initial startup after installation I had the option for Samantha – TTS, but chose Jason instead. When I went back to change to Samantha and she was gone along with all other TTS options. I have reset the system every way listed in the book with no luck. I did notice that in the lower right hand corner there is an option to setup TTS, but it only searches the USB and SD card for the files. I was hoping the update would solve this issue.
