When you do this update does it RESET the EQ'S

I have a 90bt installed in a 2009 Toyota Camry and Im having some reception issues and I was wondering if anybody could help me. Fm does not sound very good and then when I listen to AM radio and I press on the gas pedal I get this roaring sound when I accelerate. Is there an antenna booster or anything I can do to fix my issue.
